Did Hill fall to the 5th round in the draft purely because of his off the field problems at Oklahoma, or were there questionmarks about his on the field abilities? Just curious.
It was almost all due to the domestic violence incident (not the one where he broke the kids arm, this was against that kids pregnant mom), and him not being allowed to participate in the combine:

He also didn’t really produce a ton as a receiver in college. He didn’t crack 300 yards in his lone season at Oklahoma State, and he didn’t crack 500 yards in 11 games as a senior at West Alabama. As I recall, and his stats back this up, he was a projection at receiver but flashed big time as a returner and ball carrier. He actually gained more yards rushing than receiving at OKST. It can’t have helped his draft stock that, while he plays much stronger than his size, he isn’t a big guy. He was drafted even as high as the fifth round largely because flashed at his pro day, where he ran a sub-4.3, had a 6.5 three cone, and jumped 40 inches. If you can move like him, and show that kind of ability on returns/handoffs alone, somebody is gonna take you.
The newly married Hill is also father to 2 children that were born this year. He married his longtime girlfriend, who he musta been cheating on with these 2 baby mamas.
Let’s just say when his talent level drops off, I don’t see good things on the horizon for this serial abuser.

Hard to blame Hill, here. Need as many spare parts as possible for the next time he breaks his kid.
Plus, “Tyreke Hill broke his child’s arm” sounds so much worse than “Tyreke Hill broke one of his four children’s arms.” His c/ba rates are already surging.

Its kind of crazy because his attorney clearly filed a Petition for Divorce on his behalf in the Court (the Petition is publicly available) - so I cannot understand if he simply changed his mind or didn't want his wife to find out before she was served with a summons.
