Can you cite your sources concerning this particular injury? He’s my friend’s son so I’m curious what your comment is based on.
Im not making any accusation but I know from bro science that this is a belief, here is what Bing has to say:

According to the web search results, some of the anabolic steroids that increase the risk of tendon tears are:

- **Testosterone**: This is the most common and widely used steroid, which can boost muscle mass and strength, but also weaken the tendons and increase the risk of tendon rupture, especially in the upper body¹.
- **Nandrolone**: This is a synthetic form of testosterone that has less androgenic effects, but still can cause tendon damage and inflammation, as well as other side effects such as liver toxicity and cardiovascular problems².
- **Trenbolone**: This is a powerful steroid that can enhance muscle growth and fat loss, but also impair collagen synthesis and reduce tendon strength and elasticity, leading to tendon injuries and degeneration³.
- **Stanozolol**: This is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone that can increase muscle size and strength, but also reduce tendon flexibility and increase the risk of tendon rupture, especially in the Achilles tendon⁴.

These are just some examples of the anabolic steroids that can affect the tendons negatively. There may be other steroids that have similar or different effects on the tendons, depending on the dosage, duration, and individual response. Therefore, it is not advisable to use any of these steroids for treating or preventing tendon injuries, as they can cause more harm than good. The best way to protect your tendons is to avoid steroid use and follow a proper training and recovery program.

That's a source for steroids being linked to tendon and ligament issues. That's hardly new news. What's your source for implying that Phillips is a user?
I think he said his friend is Aaron Rodgers’ estranged mom and dad. At least that’s how I was hoping to read it.

No, my friends are Phillips’ parents. I don’t think it’s responsible to suggest steroids when there is just as much evidence that the type of turf at MetLife is likely the cause of many of the non contact injuries in recent years.

Most professional athletes are on or have used performance enhancing drugs and suggesting that this may be linked to certain types of injuries is not character assassination.

Dolphins could get into FG range with a completion on Tua's last pass.

Nope, it's picked. Bummer for Miami. Now it gives the Jets a chance for at least a Hail Mary attempt.

Oops. That's picked. No biggie. Nobody ever returns Hail Mary interceptions anywhere.

Oops. It's returned 99 yards for a Dolphin TD - a better outcome than if Tua had completed the pass in the first place.

You can't make this stuff up.
It almost happened in the BC/UMiami game at the end of that half as well. Hail Mary was returned by the Canes around 60 yards and the guy had a shot to break it.

I misread that to read that after the ‘Fins game, Tua’s father caned his son for throwing two picks.

Sure, but if the same exact thing happened to, say, Judon do you think he would've casually wondered if he was on steroids?

I thought the comment was only using the fish guy as a jumping off point for how tendon injuries seem high this year.

Only two matchups today between teams with winning records (Jaguars-Texans and Bills-Eagles).

You figure the odds of having a lot of games with teams with winning records is 0%. You can't have wins without losses.

On Thursday, 2 of the 3 games didn't have two teams with winning records. On Friday, the same thing, Jets under 500.

Derrick Henry passed 9,000 career rushing yards today.

I was surprised his career numbers weren’t more impressive. I think he’s going to fall short of Canton.

Yeah he’s currently 39th on rushing yards and surprisingly has only been All-Pro once and only 3 Pro Bowls. His hall of fame monitor is below 40, putting him 95th or something. Lack of receiving yards (and injuries) has hurt him

Riverboat Doug goes for a touchdown (instead of Fg) on the last play of the second half but Etienne gets stuffed

Don’t like that play call. If you’re not confident in your line getting half a yard of push, kick the field goal.

Trevor had the guy in the end zone WIDE OPEN and didn't throw the ball until it was too late.

Atrocious QB play there. I don't get it.
