That's just a brutally tough loss for Miami. You hate to see it.
After it was gonna be a brutal loss for TEN.
MIA dicked around inside the 10 a couple times getting too cute, TEN was right with them, then the back to back inexplicable punt muff and bad pitch put them down 14.
They storm down, Vrabel makes the smart go for 2 move, get it. Get a huge stop, score again, then get another stop

Except that it helps the Chiefs, so I'm not sure how I feel about it
great for the draft pick if that helps break the tie. Not only gets TEN to 5 wins, but a loss for MIA who we play twice gives us an edge on ARI, WAS, etc on tiebreaks

Honestly, I'm not sure I'd root for the Dolphins over the Chiefs if it comes to it. Any win that helps Baltimore for the bye and Buffalo with a shot at the division are muuch less gross options to me.

Yeah that’s the theory. Good summary. Obviously, there have been recent high picks of QBs who were always great and have found success in the NFL- Lawrence, Burrow, Stroud, Luck, et al. But there are also several picked lowly who fought for everything every step of the way.
That is some serious 20/20 hindsight on Burrow. He could barely get in a game in 3 years at tOSU, and got very little national press for his good but not otherworldly 1st season at LSU (a season that would've gone much better if some kid named Justin Jefferson had learned how to catch footballs better a year sooner).

There's a reason he hit the board at 200-1 in Vegas to win the Heisman. Sadly, I only got 50-1 on Bovada.

I’m not a football guy just a fan so I accept your point. Then he belongs in the had to fight category.

Dolphins - historic rivals that I just cannot stand
Chiefs - hard for me to dislike Reid or Mahomes (still) but they became big rivals at the end of the Brady era...don't want Mahomes to come anywhere near Brady's records
Ravens - never liked them and they did damage to the Pats numerous times

Very difficult for me to want any of these three teams to succeed.

Tennessee doesn’t have Super Bowl aspirations. So this isn’t anything to them but a win in Week 14.

This is a catastrophe for Miami, who has a chance to make the Super Bowl and has a chance at the #1 seed. And now it is much less likely. You really do hate to see it. I’m sorry they lost, it’s just a sad result and it’s unfortunate.

It would also be a shame if Tyreek did more damage to his ankle by coming back out and playing on it in that same loss..

Up 14 with 3 minutes left, at home and fighting for the #1 seed in the AFC and you lose to Will Levis in moderately historic fashion.

It's so sad. If Tyrke is hurt on top of it, it would be a true injustice. It's just sad. The Dolphins deserve better. You just hate to see it.
