Well they do play Washington in week 9. Might have a shot at that one. This team is moribund.
Can’t wait for the silver lining thread.
It is almost like they had a rookie QB in one of those years, and a DC and ST Coach coaching the offense in the other. That’s how bad it sounds.I was looking into this and I think the way more scary number is that they win about 35% of their games when the opponent scored over 10 and 25% when they score over 14. Since 2021 they have won more games in which they gave up 10 points or fewer than they won against teams that scored more than 10. Nevermind 25 points, any time the opponent shows a semblance of offensive competence they've struggled. Average points allowed in their last 16 wins is 11.
Does that prospect tip BB into retirement?Look on the brightside, we’ll get Hard Knocks next year.
He's a fringe NFL'er at best? What are you talking about for Juju?
Reggie and the boys used to get cut. Now they're a huge part of the offense. Having a near 50/50 split between Zeke and one of the best, most explosive young RBs in the game is criminal. We seem to love going after skill players the year after they are washed up. AKA the Reggie Wayne memorial all stars.
To some extent, agree. Parker dropped an easy first down that cost the Pats 4 points. I'm sure I'll be told tomorrow how I'm being too hard on him and how difficult it was to catch that pass, blah, blah,....The dolphins d is average and the pats haven’t been made it into the red zone yet at half. They have no above average players on offense. Stevenson is the closest but not much he can do with this line. I can’t even really blame Mac with the garbage he has around him. Do I think he is good? Not really but can’t put any of this on him.
We both said this, but I wonder why only boos can "rain down"? You never hear about a round of applause raining down.boos raining down
The Dolphins D looked suspect last week but they were facing Justin Herbert. Big difference. Also, Ramsey is hurt. The dolphins d is average and the pats haven’t been made it into the red zone yet at half. They have no above average players on offense. Stevenson is the closest but not much he can do with this line. I can’t even really blame Mac with the garbage he has around him. Do I think he is good? Not really but can’t put any of this on him.
I mean, yes, that's part of it. What, do those games not count? Don't even know what the point is here.It is almost like they had a rookie QB in one of those years, and a DC and ST Coach coaching the offense in the other. That’s how bad it sounds.
Not with their goaltending they wouldn’t.Maybe the Dallas Stars.
Lower frequency waves propagate closer to the ground. We both said this, but I wonder why only boos can "rain down"? You never hear about a round of applause raining down.
Cost them 4 points? Wouldn't they have had to drive an extra 28 yards or so there? To some extent, agree. Parker dropped an easy first down that cost the Pats 4 points. I'm sure I'll be told tomorrow how I'm being too hard on him and how difficult it was to catch that pass, blah, blah,....
I think their throwback unis are clearly in the top 3 bright spots tonight. However even having Pat as an extra O line man isn't helping giving Mac time to throw long.Always disappointing when the only bright spots at halftime are the rookie kicker and rookie punter.
He was literally the #1 WR for the team that won the SB last year (a game in which he led the team in targets) and most experts listed him as the best WR available in FA this summer... he's not a fringe NFL player in any aspect. He's a fringe NFL'er at best?
Depends, he might be amused by the challenge of doing the show but putting nothing on film.Does that prospect tip BB into retirement?
Duggar has been really quiet. It’s depressing but this is who we are now.
Mac has never won a game when the other team scored 25 or more. You have to go back to Cam to find the last time they did it.The offense isn’t good enough to keep up with this. I think Zolak brought up last week on the radio broadcast that this team is something like 0-12 when the opponent scores 25 or more over the last couple of seasons.
Because it's always a thunderous applause... especially if it's in the boudoir. Precipitation always ensues. /Would-be prom night. We both said this, but I wonder why only boos can "rain down"? You never hear about a round of applause raining down.
I was making an unsafe assumption. But they were moving the ball that drive despite a marginal penalty call against them. Parker still should have caught that pass; tired of making excuses for the WR talent.Cost them 4 points? Wouldn't they have had to drive an extra 28 yards or so there?
Bill spends the entire camp wearing a T-shirt reading HBO Sucks My Ass.Depends, he might be amused by the challenge of doing the show but putting nothing on film.
If he's employed in the NFL past week 10, I'll buy you a beer somewhere somehow. He was literally the #1 WR for the team that won the SB last year (a game in which he led the team in targets) and most experts listed him as the best WR available in FA this summer... he's not a fringe NFL player in any aspect.
They are moving the ball, but that's kind of the issue with doing it 5 yards at a time. A penalty or a drop kill you.I was making an unsafe assumption. But they were moving the ball that drive despite a marginal penalty call against them. Parker still should have caught that pass; tired of making excuses for the WR talent.

Either that, or he figures out how much the league can fine him for not participating.
There’s no way the Dolphins only score 6 more points this game.Let me tell tou how half #2 goes.
Miami has a 7 minute drive resulting in a FG. 20-3.
The Patriots score a TD on a 4 minute drive, giving us all just enough hope to keep watching 20-10.
Pats get a 3 and out. Then they have a promising drive that stalls out and the kick a FG. 20-13.
The trade field position for a few possessions, with the Dolphins evemtually adding a FG. The Pats score a TD, and another moral victory Dolphins 23 Patriots 20.
There was a block in the back/holding penalty that one time.Did Miami have any negative plays in the first half, ie sack or run stopped behind the line? I don’t think so. Oof.
There you go.Did Miami have any negative plays in the first half, ie sack or run stopped behind the line? I don’t think so. Oof.
Although, that was a good start. There’s no way the Dolphins only score 6 more points this game.
