I was about to type that this was the worst performance I've ever seen by an NFL team...Deathofthebambino said:This could be one of the worst games ever played by an NFL team. I think they could bring out Jack Ryan, and still score TD's against these guysTim Naehrings Girl said:How much longer will Matt Ryan play in this game?
he should be fired before the 2 minute warning.Buffalo Head said:There's no way Lovie is still the coach a week from Sunday, is there?
Matt Bryant could throw for 400 yards against this team.Dan to Theo to Ben said:I think they could bring out Jack Ryan, and still score TD's against these guys

I take it your fantasy opponent has VJax?Dollar said:Imagine if that push-off hadn't been called in a close game. I hate when refs call the game differently in different situations, there's a rulebook for a reason.
They approached him to restructure his deal, no? He could have taken less to stay with a good team.Three10toLeft said:I feel bad for Logan. It's gotta be rough going from such a winning organization, to these Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Don't fault anyone for taking the money, but don't feel bad either.
There's no evidence that either player was purposely sent to an undesirable location out of spite. Those teams had a need that the players met.jsinger121 said:
Absolutely. And if you don't play for what the Pats want they will send you to NFL hell. See Seymour with Oakland and now Mankins with Tampa.

Quite possibly not even the worst performance of the Bucs in history. December 5, 1976, they lost 42-0 to Pitt, becoming the only underdog in NFL history to not cover a 20.5+ point spread.Deathofthebambino said:RW, I said it last night at the time, but I would seriously make the argument that it was the worst performance by an NFL team in history. This wasn't a case of a bad day, turnovers, etc. Every single play involved a massive, game-changing level fuckup by Tampa Bay. When they got a first down, they were flagged for holding. When they got positive yardage, they got flagged for a personal foul. When they intercepted a pass, they fumbled it back on the same play. They gave up kick return td's, pick sixes, their defense literally did not tackle anyone. Until the last 5 minutes or so, they could not have played worse. Literally, they ended up with the worst possible outcome on about 80% of the plays in the game. It's almost impossible to overstate how bad of a game this was for Tampa Bay.
That said, TB is dealing with injuries, especially on defense. They are decimated, so they should have gotten killed last night, but getting beat 38-10 is something that happens. Making the worst possible play on every play and going down 56-0 is a totally different story. There was no discipline, no heart, nothing. It was truly the worst game of football I've ever seen a team play. They are talented enough and actually made some plays, but they fumbled it away or got a penalty or made some other mistake every single time. I might go back and watch it again the next time I feel like the Patriots play a bad game, so I can remember what a real bad game actually looks like.
I think they got the best offer on the table for both Mankins and Seymour as well.jsinger121 said:
I highly doubt the Pats would have sent either player to a rival team. The only reason they dealt Bledsoe to Buffalo was likely it was the best offer and they knew he was pretty much done as a player.
I agree- there have been worse performances, but I don't remember seeing one personally.Deathofthebambino said:RW, I said it last night at the time, but I would seriously make the argument that it was the worst performance by an NFL team in history.
