So I just saw the unveiling of Peyton Manning's name on the Colts ring of honor. It gives the years as 1998-11, which to mean (and maybe I'm just being pedantic) doesn't make any sense.

That's because there haven't been two teams in town. Also, it happened last week with FOX.
I totally get why it is happening - I lived in NY for 43 years and the two-team impact on NFL viewing. It's just that I am annoyed either team is here as it is messing up what used to be good weekly football lineups, and seeing them on the rerun channels amuses me when the ratings are so bad

Sounds like another excuse for another banner to me.

Really hard to overstate how much the Browns are kicking the Jets ass. Time of possession is 2-1

They finally score 7-3 Browns. That might be all she wrote. Jets can't move the ball

I think you're overstating the impact. LA stations always showed the Chargers, Raiders, and Rams. If anything, this has brought more televised games to the LA market. Last week there were SIX games televised on Sunday.

Njoku with a great one handed catch and an even better sumo-wrestling TD celebration for Cleveland.

AJ Green has been responsible for three turnovers today for Cincinnati.

An under the radar story so far this season is how Ben has really fallen off.

Titans TE commits back to back false starts on 1st and Goal, and then hauls in a great over the shoulder grab.

Cam Newton and Carson Wentz have been very good today. Every other QB has been horrible.

If the Steelers win the AFCN this season (and with the weakness of the competition, that could still happen), that should silence Tomlin’s critics.

No disagreement on the Been bashing, but this Jacksonville defense is looking very, very good. They have some serious talent at all levels. Ramsey is eating Brown's lunch.

Holy shit, the Browns are all in on the tank. Figured if they tied it there was no way they could lose since the Jets can't score. So they run it right into the pile on 4th and 2. WOW

4th and 2 at the Jets 4. Hue sends out the FG unit, then calls a timeout and send the offense back on the field. Okay. But then you run a shitty off tackle run with a yard and a half to go?? What the fuck Hue?

Seriously, that was a bad play. It was literally right into the pile.

He's tanking or he took the Jets and the points. No other rational reason for what just happened.

I liked the decision (which is the HC’s decision), but not the play call (likely the OC’s).

Brown has a lot of yards; he's been targeted a ton and Ben is staring him down and getting himself in trouble.

Giants score to go up 5, pending the point after. Elect to go for two, but get a delay of game. Still go for two, from the 7 yard line, don't get it.

At that point, just kick it.

I was under the impression you couldn't decide to kick at that point anymore, because you're electing to go from the 2 instead of the 15, and you can't decide later to kick.

That last pick isn’t on Roethlisberger. Couldn’t tell if Brown fell or got pulled down, but the ball was thrown where Brown was supposed to be.
