Would Dion Lewis be back for that? And, if so, how long until Ward goes for his knees? The Pats should really have success against these LBs and safeties. Can't wait till that game. Time to exercise some demons up there.
Thanks. Appreciate the explanation. They can swap decals on the helmets but not the helmets themselves.
Lewis I think the target game is Week 10 vs. Seattle. Ward would do it in warmups.Would Dion Lewis be back for that? And, if so, how long until Ward goes for his knees?
He'll be back well before then, but will he make it to week 15?Would Dion Lewis be back for that? And, if so, how long until Ward goes for his knees?
Said everyone who roots against Denver, every week.Blown opportunity.
3 of those 4 wins were by 12+ points, and it's not like any of those teams are doormats like CLE or MIA. They looked good. They looked good against a struggling Carolina team, bad Indy, bad TB, and struggling Cincy. They got torched by Atlanta. They're a good team, but getting exposed last 2 games a bit.
That Eagles game was a disaster, the 99 yard INT return was backbreaking. And you're right, if they won that game like they should have, the Jets/Dolphins games wouldn't have mattered. How about the Eagles loss at home immediately after the Broncos loss? The Patriots should have destroyed that team in that situation, and instead, the Patriots fell asleep for a 20 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd quarter and the start of the fourth quarter and gave up a blocked punt touchdown (with 8 seconds left in the half), a 99 yard interception return touchdown, a punt return touchdown, and an offensive touchdown for the Eagles, turning a 14-7 lead into a 35-14 deficit in a blink. That game was the turning point in the season, IMO. They win that game, and the Jets and Dolphins games would have meant a whole lot less.
You guys need to go read the game thread from the first Thursday night game involving Denver, where Carolina was winning that game, and as usual, they puked it up at the end and Denver won. Denver is 10 points behind. Do not be surprised to see their offense put together one good drive, score a td, and then their defense get a late defensive or special teams touchdown or big turnover leading to a TD. They've done it about a dozen times in the last 2 years. A 10 point deficit in the third is right about where they need to be.
With the kind of QB play DEN is getting tonight, 16-3 feels like a safe lead for SD.The Chargers really, really need to punch this turnover in if they want to put this game away.
They are incredibly lucky to have 3 points.Hard to think Denver is going to come back; even for them this looks hard because clearly not having Kubiak has sapped the offense of any punch.
If you stop their running game and make Siemien make plays you have a good chance to stop them especially if you get ahead. It's like SD is trying to play a ball control, limit opponent possession game plan. Maybe the idea is to force DEN to play catch up??
God, I hope you're right. With the kind of QB play DEN is getting tonight, 16-3 feels like a safe lead for SD.
You know how they lost last week, right?Just run twice and kick.
And something like 64 of those points have been in the 4th quarter and overtime. San Diego jumping out to a lead isn't surprising. Can they hang on and finish them off?As a reminder, SD has given up 133 points in their previous 5 games.
