Mac has hit receivers in the hands often this year and they’ve made maybe one or two plays all year.
The Patriots have very few drops, and Mac's placement has been shit all year.... But also yes the WRs don't get good separation and the line is terrible outsider of Brown.

Also like to point out that that we were never shown a replay of that holding call at the end

So, so small. Romo is right - what'll get totally lost is that Mac threw an incredible ball on that pass to Parker that would have set them up close to FG range with TONS of time left, and Parker let it go RIGHT through his hands. Then penalties and the sack and boom, game over.
Yep. It doesn’t even matter who plays QB at this point because the team around him is a flaming pile of dog shit.

You have to hand it to this team. Every time you think it can’t possibly get any worse they prove us wrong.

Mac once again has a chance to drive the team downfield for a GW drive and once again fails.
Get this fucking clown gone.
Shitty throws on that last drive. Didn’t even give his receivers a chance to make a play on the ball and not to mention he had all day from the OL

Outside of the one handed Hunter Henry catch in like week one, I don't think there has been a single great catch made by a Pats receiver that shouldn't be made by anyone collecting paychecks to catch footballs in the NFL.

If the ball doesn't hit them in the chest, they aren't expected to make a play.

Yeah Mac made a good play - I drag him here so I am going to say it - he made a great throw there that, had Parker caught it, sets them up for a fairly easy FG. Now Ryland converting it is a different story and there are all sorts of 2023 NEP ways the game could go awry. But Jones put this team in a position to win and his teammates (OL all day and all year, Parker) let him down.

We don't need to exaggerate how bad Mac is - just state facts.

Yeah, totally on him that Parker can't catch, his OC is calling run plays with two minutes left, and of course the O line can't block for more then 2 seconds max.

Naw, “single” is an exaggeration; there was that other one in that other game.

True, He also threw one of the worst interceptions of the year.
The whole team blows.

Yeah, that’s the thing. Having a bad QB makes you bad, but not 1-16 bad. Having a bad EVERYTHING on offense makes you 1-16 bad.

I still can't believe Parker dropped that ball.
Fair but it’s worth remembering that Parker has never been good and never will be good. His one productive season came when he got a billion balls thrown his way.

Bill extending him for real money is the kind of act that gets an old person’s keys taken away.

The run call was fine, the clock was going to stop anyway and it's a 1st down if either Mafi doesn't hold behind the play or the refs call a phantom hold, we never saw a replay so who knows which it was.

This is an exceedingly poor take on what just happened. And I say that as someone who is as ready to see Mac gone as anyone.
It's a go to move around here to blame Mac for everything, and ignore the multiple times he's made plays to give his team a chance in close ones and have his team fuck up. Bourne dropping a dime on a long third down this year, Boutte not getting his feet down twice this year, Rham fumbling against Cincy when going in for the win last year, the Meyers/Rham lateral insanity against the Raiders, etc.

Mac has also had plenty of games that he was the reason they lost or didn't make a final drive, but this statistic about Mac not being able to win in the end is fucking stupid. There's 11 guys on the field, and half of them, if not more, are literally incapable of playing winning football when it matters..
