Can ask the same about Atlanta...Why is the Cincinnati offense so so bad this year?
Robbie Anderson is a monster. He has webs on his hands because he hauls everything in.
Any idea what if anything the Texans did as a protest today?
Bold moves from a rookie QB.So they refused to play an early game!
Dude is ALL over the field.Undrafted from Temple or something like that
Come to think of it, how much did those Maseratis cost, and what’s the rookie salary these days?Bold moves from a rookie QB.
Yeah was there a protest or was it that pick 6?Any news on Texans pre-game showing? I missed
They just talked about it on Red Zone. A majority of players took a knee during the anthem. Apparently no player took a knee earlier in the season out of respect to McNair. So their kneeling was a protest to McNair. I guess?Any news on Texans pre-game showing? I missed

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read in my life.I support their gesture; but at this point the story is going to continue to be the players disrespecting the anthem and people who are upset about that will only see that and won't care that it was because their owner was being an asshole and compared them to prisoners.
If the goal is to get people who are ignorant to your cause to acknowledge your plight, then at this stage of the game I don't know how productive the anthem protests are going to be. I would guess a majority of the population that would be unsympathetic towards the players for McNair's comments, already has made up their minds that anything leading to an anthem protest is offensive and not worthy of further consideration.
For the record; I'm not talking about the majority of the population in general, just the people who are strongly against the anthem protests. I certainly think that it's possible that if the players decided to protest in a different, non-anthem way, that people who want to deny the reality of the protesters' situation would come up with a contrived reason to dismiss what the protesters are trying to communicate. At this point, it has been almost proven unfortunately that all anthem protests are going to be viewed under the same lense for some people; that the players will be "unpatriotic" and that they should shut up and start standing, regardless of the reason for why they are standing.Kliq, do you think the majority of the population will acknowledge their plight if they protest in a different manner?
That surprised me. I noticed Red Zone was getting stuck on either game for long periods of time, then I realized there were only 2 games. UghTwo games at 4pm today. That's pretty ridiculous scheduling.
Scheduling 6 teams for a bye week is the really stupid part. Two games at 4pm today. That's pretty ridiculous scheduling.
On a London week, no less. The NFL does really weird things, one stupid decision after the next.Scheduling 6 teams for a bye week is the really stupid part.
Nifty play, Madden broke out and wasn't acknowledged.LOL Tre Madden
Not exactly a highlight reel play from Rawls there, either.Horrible throw from Wilson.
