Jimmy G has a great silhouette. You can see numerous examples of it implanted in various parts of the turf at Ford Field.

Nice of the Lions to use the Ford Mustang logo on the helmet with a lion on it instead of a horse. Just does not look good.

James G to the Vikes might make some sense.
His 2024 cap hit is $28.5M.

Maybe the Vikings can live with that — grab a developmental QB who would benefit from a year on the bench, roll with JG next year, then reevaluate for 2025 and beyond.

But I’m sure I love that even if the acquisition cost is zero. Raiders aren’t getting more than a Day 3 pick for JG; it’s mainly about salary relief next year.

Is Jimmy ok? He has been terrible since that low hit.

Do you think if BB did the Devito with Mac that the Pats would have beaten the Raiders and the Saints?

Tonight was the second-largest difference in yards from scrimmage in an NFL game this season, behind only the 70-point Miami game. No wonder it felt like Detroit dominated.

That sounds about right. It mostly depends on how desperate Minny is. That said, the Browns, Falcons, Colts, and Giants all could probably use a competent QB as well (I'll leave it to others to say if Jimmy G in his current state qualifies as "competent"), so there could be some demand for his services. I recognize that the Giants have already started selling pieces, so they may not be a candidate.

The Lions seemed to be in the backfield all night, so it's hard to tell ... but he didn't look at his best when he did have time

The Browns, Colts, and Giants are all committed to someone else at QB next year. None of them are going to take on JG’s 2024 money. The Falcons aren’t similarly constrained, but they already have Heineke; JG wouldn’t be a massive upgrade.

I don’t think the Vikings should trade for JG either, but it’s the only destination I can think of where it might make sense for the acquiring team.
