You are correct; it all started during COVID, the cameras are gone, but the players still do the end zone celebrations.I may be wrong but I thought it started in 2020 when there were few to no fans in NFL stadiums but Bud Light set up the Showtime Cam in the end zone that allowed players to celebrate with fans virtually.

In my minds eye, I just keep picturing Maxx and Gruden in some off strip dive bar doing shots of whiskey in silence and looking right in each others eyes for 2 hours before heading to the stadium and I cannot believe Roger took that from me.

Every single blocker was on point. So he knew who he had to beat. And as you said, the amazing vision — he saw the CB overcommit and cut outside in, like, a nanosecond.
I don’t think I’ve watched a full Lions game since the opener against KC — just snippets on RedZone. But their O-line has looked elite to me.
Living in suburban Detroit I can tell you that the area has really embraced this team. Southeast Michigan would absolutely explode were the Lions able to reach the Promised Land.
Yeah these field microphones are picking up a ton of cussin' which explains the frequent audio cutouts.
