The cradle of the game.
I'm happy to report that despite all the prognostications of doom, the Titans have shown up here tonight and will take the field against the Steelers.

Levis is as big as Watt. I hope they run a double reverse and Levis blows him up. That was a bullshit play by Watt.

Pittsburgh defense seems pretty legit
You jinxed them. :)

Seriously, the chunk play on that 3rd and long killed them. Gotta get off the field in those situations in today’s NFL.

I guess not try to tackle the QB. Those calls suck. I can buy the pile drive type stuff being a penalty, but not the flow of play "lands on the QB" call.
yeah, especially when it's in a crowd, he doesn't have his legs under him and he can't roll off the side because there is another guy there.

Tarot card readers are better at projections than college QB “experts”. Fuck those guys.

I dunno, it’s not high school. These guys are world-class athletes. They should be able to hit a relatively stationary QB in the pocket between his knees and chest without landing on him with their full body weight. I’m more sympathetic on calls outside the pocket when a QB gets hit a split second after he initiates a slide or steps out of bounds.

If Levis looks good in the second half I might spend my whole night looking up mirror masturbators like this guy

Levis has looked pretty good, but it's not like he's blowing away the guys below him in that graphic, I thought Richardson looked better, Young has turned a corner despite a terrible roster.
Levis has a crazy arm and is willing to make the throws which is good... on the other hand, he's made some terrible decisions that could have been brutal turnovers if things break differently.

You’re not what I would call a super fun guy. That’s alright, maybe I need a “get back guy” in these nfl threads. I can get carried away.

Analytics say GFI there on 4th and 3, right?

(I would’ve kicked, for the record. I’m just curious.)

Probably, but I don’t put much stock in those metrics.

edit: how many competing models are there? Because I saw a down and distance one last week that I thought would have made it a GFI.

How many sacks would Deacon Jones have had through 100 games?
Offensive linemen had a lot less leeway in blocking prior to 1978. He wouldn’t have blown by today’s linemen like he blew by his contemporaries. But he would’ve played a lot more passing downs on today’s game and would’ve been a game-changing pass rusher, for sure.

Levis is exactly what it looks like if you make the bad throw across your body decisions that Mac sometimes makes but have a rocket launcher

Pickett has 122 passing yards? Wow.
Any time you get the "this offense has been terrible for 3 years" graphics in the 1st quarter you know it's going great.
The Steelers offense stinks, their OC is terrible and Pickett has zero juice.
