Justin Fields didn’t get a call on something ten times more egregious than that in week 18. NFL consistent as always.

Honestly that makes me hate Allen and the NFL. He’s running over guys and flexing his muscles an and then decides to slide, doesn’t get hit in the head, and calls for a penalty. It’s ridiculous.

It’s like Mahomes daring guys to hit him when he’s dancing around the sideline.

Man, that was rough.

I really hate the calls on tacklers of sliding QBs - I just don’t know what the defensive players are supposed to do

Tony: "That's what happens when you run the ball."

Dude, that was just a great effort and had nothing to do with running the ball.

One of the Steelers did a flying tackle of, I think, Diggs ... who didn't have the ball

I don’t like that call. He tried to pull up (and did)and didn’t dive until Allen was halfway sliding
And if you watch the TD run from the first half, Allen slows down at one point like he might give himself up - which causes the defenders to pause - and then he jukes and keeps running. I honestly don’t know what you’re supposed to do as a defender against someone like him or Mahomes.

At some point defenders have to realize that you can’t launch yourself low at a QB. Just don’t do it.
josh allen is a freight train - it’s bananas to think a guy can gear up to take him down and then stop in midair when he slides

Maybe better for the Steelers. Bills looked primed for a TD there anyways and this saves time.

There's something off about throwing the flag on Jack when he started his tackle before Allen started his slide and held up at the end, and not throwing a flag when a 350-pound offensive lineman launches himself at the backside of Joey Porter Jr. at the end of the play and injures him.

Does it seem like New York is making calls? Cheffers is clearly pressing the earpiece to his ear to let them give input before they make the call on the field. That is not supposed to be how it works on judgment calls.

Not what I said at all.

Don’t dive into the ground to stop a QB. If he’s on the ground he doesn’t need to be dived at.

He was midair diving into the turf to hit a QB. That’s always a flag.

NY is involved in every meaningful call, it appears.
