Should have been DPI, but if the defender just undercut the route, he's running that in for a pick six. Terrible throw by Brees.

It’s only a terrible throw if your receiver is held by the collar as soon as he made his cut and isn’t allowed to come back to the ball at all until he stops being held

You can't call a horse collar on a QB in the pocket? You can barely touch a QB but horse collar is okay? Im sorry Aikman I don't buy that

Moving the Line
Third and long, inside zone with Anderson. Brutal call, no chance that gets you to fourth and short, let alone the first. And the fact you're this deep in your own territory? That's worse than any of the awful Hill shit all day.

Doesn’t horse collar have to be inside the pads? That was just Jersey.
Yep, it wasn't inside his pads, and Goff was arguably still in the pocket anyway:

When the NFL adopted a rule against horse-collar tackles, they made it against the rules for a player to tackle an opponent other than a quarterback in the pocket by pulling him down with a grab inside the shoulder pads from behind.

Head Coach wants to prove he is The Smartest Guy in The Room.
One coach has taken the ball out of the hands of a HOF QB three times. Other coach has four touches for one of the league’s best backs, although there may be more to that story.

Need to see it again rewound that chop block call. I don’t see it. The guy that goes low wasn’t hitting an engaged blocker.

This is probably another rule I don’t know the minutiae of

I didn't see the play. Where did the chop block take place? Was it on the LOS or somewhere else? Because you can't use a cut block on a change of possession play (kickoff, punt, interception, fumble, etc.).
