Interesting to see how the draft plays out. Bengals are likely taking Burrow first. The next 3 slots may not be taking a QB (Redskins - Haskins, Lions - Stafford, Giants - Jones), so who's trading up? And which team is smart enough to trade down for a good deal?
Having watched Rudolph and Hodges struggle, and knowing that an aging/injured Roethlisberger is most certainly on the downside of his career...could the Steelers try to move up or will they end up in a spot where a quality QB is still available?

My Falcons, after starting the season 1-7, have secured the #16 draft pick. It's basically the worst of all possible seasons: no hope of reaching the postseason after Week 5 or 6, and no premier talent arriving via the draft in April. I guess I'll be rooting for the Titans next week to help make the Sanu trade pick in Round 2 that little bit better.
Jesters did the same but I wanted them to win their games. How do you know it’s 16? Lots of 7 win teams.

They don’t have a first round pick right? Didn’t they give it to Miami?

Btw, I totally get why a Jets fan would want his team to win as many games as possible - Darnold needed the positive development, etc. The Falcons, though...not only have they screwed up their draft position, they managed to retain their coach who screwed up the first half of the season so badly because after losing all of the games that might have mattered they have now won nearly all of the games that didn't matter. And today, as much as I enjoyed Winston's walkoff pick six, the Falcons had no business being in that game and would have lost if the Bucks hadn't missed three easy field goals. That win pushed the Falcons down five slots in the draft order *and* gives us an away game against the Cowboys instead of the Giants next year. Vomit.

Oh yes...you are right. So, maybe trading up could be in the cards for them, though not sure what they'd have to trade.
Well, wasn't this one reason to oppose the Fitzpatrick trade, that you got a very good free safety but still haven't solved that future quarterback issue and might have preferred to use that pick to address QB instead of FS? They got nowhere but now they have a very good free safety. Okay.

Just reflect for a moment...

Eagles fans - whose team won the Super Bowl just two years ago - are deliriously happy with a 9-7 record and a 4th seed.

Meanwhile we consider this season - 12-4 and the #3 seed, following a SB championship just last year - a huge disappointment.

Agreed, especially because the trade was made after Ben went down for the season.

Lynch gets his first carry. Hard to imagine he will be a big factor. They say he's in great shape, but 14 months with no game action is a lot. And then to have to play in what's basically a playoff game is asking a lot.

Seattle better get their act together. Looking like shit through a goose right now. And Wilson doesn't have time to do anything.

I watched most of the Seattle v AZ game last week and the Seahawks D is slow as shit and can't tackle. Their offensive line is positively Newhousian. They're gonna get pummeled.
