He’s basically doing the thing pitchers do with their glove before the pitch while warming up in the ‘pen to indicate fastball, change up or breaking ball.
Many may think he’s a clown - or worse. But sign me up for adding him on his next one year deal for the 2021 rotation. The guy’s entertaining at the very least and probably better than most of what else we can throw out there - self-tipped pitches or not.
