I don't know if we're going to have a playoff thread but I really like a lot of these matchups.
Tampa-Washington should be a fascinating game. The way Washington's DL plays, I worry about Brady getting mauled. But he's playing at such a high level now, unless he gets hurt it might not matter. Plus, Washington's offense isn't great. Still, the way to stop Brady is with great DL play, and Washington has precisely that.
Indy-Buffalo should be interesting too, though I think the Bills handle business.
Cle-Pitt is a rematch of this week, but the Steelers will be playing their starters so maybe it turns out different.
Bal-Ten is a really interesting game, a rematch from last year. The Ravens are playing so well right now, and I worry about Tennessee's defense. Still, Vrabel knows what he's doing.
In the NFC, I think New Orleans buries Chicago. Trubisky isn't going to do much of anything against the Saints.
The Rams should get pounded by Seattle. LA's defense is really good and is playing well, but whether they have Wolford or a just-returned Goff, Seattle's defense should handle them.
And then to me one of the most interesting games is that Tampa-Washington matchup.
Of course I'd rather have the Pats in the playoffs, but it's actually not the worst thing to be able to watch the playoffs without any angst at all. Personal rooting interests: Tampa (Tom/Gronk) and Buffalo.
