Poor guy has been fighting off rabid hounds. A man of even a modicum less patience would have immolated on Twitter. He has been posting updates like the below more or less every 1-2 hours to remind people that he’s on it but cannot divine contract details:We all need to go to sleep and let Miguel figure out the cap implications of all this.
You're no fun. Can't we just do straight math (THREE YEARS!!!!! 7.5 MILLION PER YEAR) and freak out?We all need to go to sleep and let Miguel figure out the cap implications of all this.
Which hopefully means that defenses will pay attention to them and make James White Useful Again. Both Bourne and Agholor are MUCH better than *any* WR they had on the roster. Neither is as good as an elite WR1, but they just improved SIGNIFICANTLY at THREE pass-catching positions: WR1, WR2, and TE.
White will be really useful for Tampa. That's where I think he'll end up. But either way, the offense is MUCH improved already, and that's without anyone from the draft. Also... Edelman could be sneaky good this coming year especially if he doesn't play all the time, keeping him fresh.Which hopefully means that defenses will pay attention to them and make James White Useful Again.
I simply mean in tearms of usage. If Edelman was 6'1"
Oh I know man. I was trying to make a joke... not correct youI simply mean in tearms of usage.
Yeah, but it took 7 hours. That's less than 1 position per hour.Wow. The Pats have arguably upgraded at five positions this off-season so far.
Watch what happens with Gilmore and Jackson. If one of them moves for a 2d or 3rd, that’s BB loading up for a Herschel Walker type offer to move up to QB territory. (Cincinnati at 5 as I said before?.) So what happens then? A bidding war for the Miami selection? JVille and the Jets likely take Lawrence and Wilson. Whoever gets the Miami pick takes Fields or Lance. That would take 3 off the table, and Atlanta at 4 would take whoever is left. He's CRUSHING it. And honestly, given all the young guys they drafted the past couple of years that have stuck on the team, he could basically spend all of this year's draft to trade up for Lance and I'd 100% be good with it.
Would need to sign him, first.Which hopefully means that defenses will pay attention to them and make James White Useful Again.
I've maintained since last year - I think BB keeps Gilmore. Hes not trying to build for the future. Dude only has a few years left to catch Shula. With the signings they made and the Covid players returning, this defense is a top 5 unit and could be special. Why trade your best corner, one year removed from defensive player of the year?Watch what happens with Gilmore and Jackson. So, if you’re BB do you take the chance? Would Atlanta be open to a deal like that?

I dont think they send anyone out. If they move up for a QB in the draft, itll be for draft capital, not players.
My opinion, anyway.
Is the snark really needed? Everyone knows where we stand. Now we just need a decent QB.
Could be right, but indications are Gilmore will want a significant restructure. No-one thinks he’ll play for 7.5 MM ext year. After all this, and an Andrews resigning (fingers crossed), is there enough money left to do it? Serious question - I know nothing when it comes to cap calculations.I've maintained since last year - I think BB keeps Gilmore. Hes not trying to build for the future. At the money he's getting, I'm very happy they didn't resign ThuneyI'd rather have Thuney and 2 fewer other teams' signings today, but I'll take it. God knows they need the help at WR.
I gotta say, those clips make Jimmy G. look pretty darn good (well, except for that wounded duck @ 3:06).
Let's hope supremacy.I gotta say, those clips make Jimmy G. look pretty darn good (well, except for that wounded duck @ 3:06).
Is this the Bourne Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum, or a variation thereof not yet foretold?
Counterpoint - Jimmy G only threw 8 of those 36 passes.I gotta say, those clips make Jimmy G. look pretty darn good (well, except for that wounded duck @ 3:06).

I think there is a very good chance that he outperforms Agholor this year.Feel like if we get competent QB play he's going to be really good. Very solid player for SF last year. Most Patriots deal of the whole day.
Hopefully he makes through the length of the contract, so he's not just the Bourne Bridge.I gotta say, those clips make Jimmy G. look pretty darn good (well, except for that wounded duck @ 3:06).
