gaining MPHHas Mike McCarthy lost his fastball?
Did he ever have one?Has Mike McCarthy lost his fastball?
The ref? He was running his ass off to try to get the ball set to let them get a play off but they got in his way. The issue there was the play call. That ref really screwed up
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.Has Mike McCarthy lost his fastball?
Difficult to exercise the patience to let the ref spot the ball when your quarterback just ran up the center of the field with eight seconds on the clock. No I get it. I've just never seen that before to end a game. Crazy.
This made me laugh. That poor 14-year old kid calling plays for the Cowboys is going to catch hell for that one.
He is the Tim Wakefield of coaches. Need a fastball to lose it.Has Mike McCarthy lost his fastball?
LOL yeah that's definitively not how it worksDumb play and zero awareness by the Cowboys trying to spot the ball themselves and snap it
hes lost his change up.Has Mike McCarthy lost his fastball?
Yeah, the ref should have marched the ball back a few yards.Wow, Not sure if that was Zak or McCarthy...but dumb.
And anyone blaming the ref is dumber. Do you all think this is soccer?
That was my thought too. Three long passes in that spot seem like the best potentialOnce the Cowboys reached midfield they should have just maximized their throws into the end zone. Dak can get it there from that distance, what good does an extra 20 yards get you if it costs you precious time? Just chuck it three times and pray.
I was just thinking that. Take the absolute most gamethtready takes on BB after last night and ask ,"would you rather have this"?Craziest ending I've seen in a long time. Wow. I'm so glad the Pats lost how they did rather than how Dallas did.
It was a dumb play call knowing the situation. The lineman got in formation and slowed down the ref which didn't help. But then he triple tapped the ball on the ground. It was completely arbitrary spotting and the 6 inches didn't matter for the final hail maryDude you can’t just let teams spot the ball wherever the hell the offense feels like
I don’t think that’s right. The side judges were standing exactly on the 25 while the Cowboys set themselves up at the 23. The ref was generous in only moving it back to the 24. If you can rewind, you’ll see this yourself. That ref really screwed up
Hey, I remember him blowing a 78-mph heater past Giambi for a K once.He is the Tim Wakefield of coaches. Need a fastball to lose it.
Why do the cowboys get to decide where the spot is?It seemed to me that the problem was that the ref moved the ball back a yard. Why did he think the spot was a yard back?
If he did, he needs Kellen Moore surgery. Or more accurately, he is about to get a Moorectomy if the media reports are accurate.Did he ever have one?
We didn't get that, but actually the alternate was even more appropriate. In a perfect world, Dallas scores a TD and Greg the Leg misses the XP.
For me, certainly the formerSo your team loses in the wild card round of the playoffs. Would you rather...
- Have an up and coming team get BLOWN OUT in historically bad fashion to a division rival on the road?
OR
- Lose in absolutely heartbreaking and ridiculous fashion at home when you have one of the best teams in the league and are in WIN NOW mode?
The reason he triple tapped was because he was trying to get them an extra play as best he could without even looking over at the line judge to see where to spot it. They actually tried to help the Cowboys. Normal administration and it is not even close I bet.It was a dumb play call knowing the situation. The lineman got in formation and slowed down the ref which didn't help. But then he triple tapped the ball on the ground. The triple touch and not getting up there more efficiently annoys me. If we are doing what is 'good for the game' - like ignoring whistles mid play - then give them a second back.
He was doing them a favor. It was like three yards back.It seemed to me that the problem was that the ref moved the ball back a yard. Why did he think the spot was a yard back?
They made an idiotic call with no timeouts. They don’t get an extra play because it’s not fair that they are stupid. It was a dumb play call knowing the situation. I believe that is a point of emphasis in Patriots coaching.Romo is right, Prescott should have flipped the ball to the ref instead of his center.
No. I'm a Packers fan and was thrilled to see him leave. Our penalties have been way down ever since.Did he ever have one?
