Is going for it on 4th and 7 on your opponent’s 33-yard line something analytics would tell you to do, or does Pederson just not trust his kicker?

Curious, why? Pederson already won a Super Bowl (against the Pats no less) so I'd be more than happy to see one of the newer coaches make a name for himself.
My point is I dont know why, so any explanation I give would be some fake narrative. I saw them and that’s how I felt. Didn’t know ahead of time I would feel that way.

The cradle of the game.
What was Michael's quote about not working games in non metros? Something about not wanting to sleep anywhere not named 4 Seasons or Ritz Carlton?

I know, embrace it.

45 minutes from the stadium to the Ritz Amelia Island. I don’t know the quote but I believe it.

Kirk is an ESPN employee who works the Amazon Thursday night game. He's got no deal with NBC. Maybe Al's contract gave him this game even tho he moved to Amazon?
Yeah that's true. NBC would probably be no bueno for a Disney/ABC/ESPN employee.

Al still has a limited deal with NBC, yes. Herbstreit has no relationship with NBC.

I think folks are confusing the Amazon deals with Al’s side deal with NBC.

I wonder if there's some handshake agreement between the companies. Similar to Simmons giving Russillo a prominent pilot run on his podcast when Ryen was at ESPN?

Phantom replay review
I can’t complain. They got it right.

Though a bad flag there would go a long way to offset the missed call on the 2nd pick.

And another pick. Ugh.

I don’t think that was PI at all, but they def had someone buzz down to the field and reverse it.

That’s a straight-up bad throw by Lawrence.

I kinda like the no-call, but Jacksonville certainly hasn't caught a break tonight on any 50/50 calls.

It made sense to me. He is running with the guy looking for the ball. Receiver grabs him and by rule that is no longer DPI.
He says that’s not a penalty unless the DB restricts the WR from getting back to the ball.

What is that suppose to look like
