Me too. It was easy to break away from the Jints as after 1963, they were awful for most of the next 15 years.
The mid 60s weren't kind to the GMen, but we got to see Jim Brown twice a year and Unitas and Starr and the Pack. The Giants were mediocre but they did have Tarkenton who was a really fun and entertaining and very good QB. By 1964 the Pats were my lead team and I was an AFL fan but it was easy to have 2 team loyalty until the merger.

Can we try having Melissa in the booth in the fourth quarter and have Cris do the sunglasses bits and sidelines interviews?

Just to see how it goes. If it doesn’t work it’s just a quarter.

Seriously. That entire saga was incredible. Up to that point, I never would have believed how easy it was to gaslight an entire population.
@TomRicardo got the equation right before Neil de Grasse Tyson and Bill the Science Guy did.

Think about that for a moment.

Maybe even try just replacing him with anyone else just to see how it goes?

If you let Cris do those bits there'd be one after every play just like he does in the booth. Guy sees every play as an opportunity for a story about the player that was involved.
