Funny story. Many years ago I was at Kelce’s grandfather’s house. I had to work up the nerve to speak to the guy. It was a strange situation at the family compound. Anyway, I don’t have to paint too many details, they’re not important. So when I finally got in to see the guy I told him:
I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your home on the wedding day of your daughter. And may your grandson’s first down point be a masculine point. I guess I’ll never know how this turned out.
Pretty sure that lurker sleeps with the fishes now

If I were a KC fan right now I think I might actually be advocating for Henne now because they clearly can still win with him and I'd be more concerned about whether Mahomes can go next week...

Tough decision for Reid as Mahomes seems adamant about playing. He gets pulled and Henne blows the game, things could get ugly.

That's my thought watching him limp around and still play. I get that it's the playoffs and he's the man, but they just had a 99 yard TD drive without him and this is his career. They need him to be healthy for the next decade more than they need to be better today.

The thing is KC might only need 23-24 points. JAX needs to finish another drive before they truly pose a threat this game.

That’s the same hit that was 15 when the Jags hit Henne.

To me, that is exactly when you should call roughing.

It is pretty minimal helmet contact. But to me the purpose of the rule is that when the QB has gotten rid of the ball, it’s on the defender to leave him alone. Forget this one step two step bullshit, the defender there did a totally gratuitous thing. Usually, there is at least deniability that the defender was still in the process of tacking a QB with the ball. The defender there is looking right at him and shoved him knowing the play was done. When that happens, I would throw the flag if there is subsequent helmet contact.

Great toughness from Pacheco there. Thought he had the 1st.

That’s close because you have to conclude ball reached the line before the ball crossed the boundary. Dunno how you could piece that together sufficiently to meet the replay standard.
