Number 68 on the Jags is having a bad game. He is in charge of watching Lawrence and then signaling the center to snap it. But he is not getting his head around and Lawrence is making business decisions because he’s fearing guys coming at him right up the middle.

The offensive line just cleaned house on that drop back. Couple that with a receiver being open by 10-15 yards and that’s a recipe for 40 yard gains.

Peterson playing to win there. He has seen his offense’s struggles and he trusted his defense. Would have been awesome if the defense could have made abig play but they didn’t.
I get that I’m showing my age, but holy shit I remember when a 48-50 yards was considered a long field goal. Today, 50 is the new 35. These kickers make them with 10-15 yards to spare.

I disagree. Kelce had to make a nice play for the decision to be essentially a wash. Was worth the chance of forcing a longer FGA, or even a punt.
There were no less than 50 holds last weekend not called.
They don't call holds anymore, except against Cleveland, Detroit, and Washington, because the NFL hates those teams.
I was thinking the same thing. I’m listening on the radio and the announcer said by getting the yardage on third down, they got the Kansas City kicker into reasonable field-goal range. 50 yards is now reasonable field goal range
