Why does Hochuli always say “before the snap” before calling false start?

That’s like saying “holding holding”.

Let’s get a stop after KC drains some clock (1-2 first downs) then go win the game.
I love how Lawrence is progressing in his career. Really hope Calvin Ridley can contribute next year.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m listening on the radio and the announcer said by getting the yardage on third down, they got the Kansas City kicker into reasonable field-goal range. 50 yards is now reasonable field goal range
I think it is a few things. The ball changed around 2000. Remember backup or starting QBs holding snaps, now it’s normally the punter. So the long snapper punter and kicker can all practice more, so more practice plus the punter is used to handling snaps from the long snapper. And while I’m generally skeptical of the idea that general athleticism has improved as most believe, the NFL has not expanded as fast as global population so there are more people for the same amount of spots specializing more and practicing as more of a unit.

Lot of pressure on Mahomes. Being the guy who insisted on going back when the other guy led a 98 yard drive opens you up to some heat if you screw up.

That said, pressure doesn’t seem to bother him.

I haven't been locked into the game, has he been pressured at all since the ankle? Granted a lot of quick stuff, but the Jags pass rush seems pretty bad
