Tatum has been a pretty big disappointment in the playoffs. After last year's Finals performance, I was hoping for more.Tatum: 0-5, 2 points
Embiid: 4-9, 11 points
We need our star to play like a star.
i can count at least 6 possessions of it without even going back to look... Harden/Embiid twice, switched he got easy shots over Horford, Maxey/Harris, turned the corner on Jaylen and got to the rim, next one Jaylen went under he got an easy 3.... Jaylen has been involved in a ton of actions, whether Brogdon was in or not, Brogdon is also getting hunted, but they like that Jaylen PnR whenever they can get it.Dude….that’s not what’s happening at all. Have you watched this game? As soon as 13 steps on the court, it’s open season. Literally all of their actions involve him
He’s playing 4D chess. Lying to his team and the public about his brilliant no timeout decision last game. He’s crushing it manCJM still want fowers for his brilliant between game adjustments
When every shot is wide open….Why does it feel like Philly has shot 85% lately
I'd get three seconds to be somehow automatic.. like sensors in the shoes or something.. because refs never call it and players just camp in the lane for whole possessions. That's the rule I would change (in the "what rule would you change" thread). None of this "see if it goes in" shit. It's a foul or it isn't, ref. Cut the shit.
No. He’s not good because he’s Tatum, he’s good because he contributes positively in pretty much all facets of the game, so when his shot isn’t there, all those other parts usually still are. He does have occasional games where he has broader struggles, but those are incredibly rare. This isn’t surprising since he’s growing into being a top 5 player. If this is your stance then you have literally no bar for him. He could step onto the court and he’s automatically great.
That’s ridiculous and wrong
You want Tatum to take 36 shots?Tatum: 0-5, 2 points
Embiid: 4-9, 11 points
We need our star to play like a star.
Does he have floor seats? We need him to hold the ball and instigate something with Embiid.Don't we have at least one SoSHer in the Garden tonight? HE'S LETTING US DOWN
Your position is literally Tatum steps on the court and he’s grearNo.
Your position, as far as I can tell is bad shooting = bad performance. That is wrong.
Because they aren't stars?Their stars are playing like stars
why can’t ours?
Is it a cognitive bias, or a general approach by pretty much all refs to let some fouls go if the shot goes in?It's not like that's a rule today. It's a ref cognitive bias. How do you implement what you're saying?
I hate the fact that I’m starting to agree with you.CJM still want fowers for his brilliant between game adjustments
That was Jaylen’s fault, he’s on the bench yes, but still his faultJFC. Brogdon literally looked the other way while Harden had to shoot that three.
