Is it possible for NBA to get better national announcers next year, or is it like a tenure situation?

Butler and Adebayo are pretty good.. Lowry too at times. I think they did just happen to run into a hobbled Bucks team and an inexperienced semi talented Knicks team. I think the Sixers and the Celtics are both better.
This. Missing Giannis (completely or him playing 80%) is not trivial.

Stilll... they had to win these series, so they aren't going to be an easy out.

Splash bros pulling a bit of a Tatum so far

Edit at least Klay had been pretty cold before that last jumper

Lakers are shooting great and winning all the peripheral battles. But GS is hanging around.

Meanwhile yet another JVG rant. Regardless of whether he is right or not complaining about the action in front of the audience is terrible announcing.

I could be 100% wrong here, but does the GS timeout prevent LA from challenging? I feel like something similar happened in a C's game within the past month or so.

TNT has good announcers but the people providing color are terrible on both networks. Reggie and Mark Jackson are idiots. SVG and Hubie won't stop talking. JVG hates the product. Doris is stuck on narratives, stars, and has no energy.

Always scary how fast the Warriors can close a 17 point deficit
And this is why, no matter how disgusted I am with myself, I'm rooting for the Lakers.

Then I hope Denver wipes the floor with them, and Jokic actually stomps on AD's ankle, while punching Austin "I get more calls than Jayson Tatum" Reaves face.

Other than Reggie, I don’t mind the TNT guys. Jim Jackson is good. Grant Hill is harmless (which compared to most of the color analysts makes him awesome). SVG is wordy and has the voice of a frog but he’s informative.

The only ESPN announcers that aren’t complete dog shit are JVG (who I don’t mind but i completely understand why people don’t like him) plus Ruocco/RJ/JJ (and I don’t even like RJ that much)

Yup. The Warriors have the winning pedigree and can win literally any game with their shooting.
The Lakers success seems like it’s held together by scotch tape. Like AD is made out of glass and LeBrons foot is held together by scotch tape. I don’t think that can last

Austin Reaves looks like Tom Holland’s older brother who has a much more punchable face

It is my solemn duty to note that any game LAL wins is a sad event. LED is just as glorious day as YED.

Go Dubs (and then Go Nuggets)!

Regardless of who comes out of this round, we want a game seven in this series.
IMO, 1 extra game in this series is irrelevant. If the Warriors win this one, they'll blow out the Lakers on Sunday.

I want 7 games in the next series, no matter who plays Denver, but 1 extra game, 2 days from now in this series won't matter come the Finals, barring some injury to the team that actually wins.

I want nothing to fucking do with Curry and Klay going supernova, while Draymond does Draymond shit, and Wiggins figures out how to shut down Tatum again.

Nothing.

Go through Embiid/Harden, then Lowry/Butler, and I'll deal with the refs in any series after that. Denver would be a great series against Boston, and straight up. But GS, they just find it when they need it.

The Warriors have played terribly and it’s amazing they are still in the game. The Lakers are took their foot off the gas on the second quarter and started settling for jump shots rather than attacking the paint.

That said, if the Dubs can start making some 3s they can get right back in this. They’ve missed a lot of decent looks.
