Carter with a beast AB there. Fought off a bunch of Javier slop and then he smoked it. Tucker gakked that there - if Smoltz were on the mound he wouldn't be as charitable.
Meh. Line drives like that don’t offer much time to track the ball. By the time he caught on that he was a shade too shallow, it was almost on top of him.
Agreed it wasn't easy and it was on a line as you note. But I bet Mookie gets that.
On another note, that kind of sucked for the Rangers. That was another run and runner in scoring position if Brantley doesn't get his old ass hand on it.
Maybe one of these times we'll see a close game. It's really been a pretty lousy post season with the exception of a only a couple of really good games.
