This feed is working really well for me. High video quality, very little adware to contend with (and if you're using an adblocker, it doesn't have an adblock gate): http://liveonscore.tv/nfl-streams/new-england-patriots-vs-miami-dolphins/35260/

Anyone have any good recommendations for live streams for those of us out of market? Also, where is audio being streamed this year? In years past, I could get it with a premium TuneIn subscription but I think last year you had to have a SiriusXM sub. Same this year?

They did this in swimming for the 800 and 1500 events. It's so frustrating to have long stretches of non-action with no commercials where the announcers are just rambling only to have a really exciting competition that they cut away from for minutes at a time. My sense is that this must be...

Two emails I sent to my swim friends after the 2 medley relays: Cumulative relay exchanges on the women's 400 MRR: AUS - 0.40 USA - 1.05 Coaches should show videos of this race to their swimmers and ask "Would you rather get silver by a tenth or win gold by a half second? WORK YOUR FUCKING...

It's definitely doable to sprint a 50 without breathing and I've done it more than a few times. I haven't checked the science on this in a while, but the general idea is that your body doesn't use the oxygen you breath in until after the race is over so you might as well not break your stroke...

Ledecky on swimming through 2024 and maybe 2028. Talks about her intention to take more time off than after Rio (2 weeks) but saying it's hard for her to stay away from the pool. View: https://twitter.com/NBCSports/status/1421477055837900802?s=19

Weitzel swimming the 50 a few minutes before is something to think about it but a lot of other swimmers faced the same issue and handled it pretty well. McKeon split 51.7, for example. All things considered, the 50 free really doesn't take a lot out of you This tweet outlines the 5 best...

Yup. I'm beyond angry right now. Remember all those things I said the coaches should do in constructing the relay? They pretty much did the opposite. You do NOT put a woman on the breaststroke leg. You do NOT put a man on the freestyle leg Those 4 swimmers actually had pretty decent swims...

All things being equal, you want you to put the men in the slowest strokes as those take up the biggest share of the race (measured by time) and men can usually gain more on the women because of that. Generally, that means you want men in breaststroke and women in freestyle, with the choice for...

I'm going to take a moment to bitch about the men's US coaches and their relay construction. The coaches made a mistake on the 4x200 relay team earlier this week by putting Zach Apple on the 3rd leg instead of using several guys (Dressel, Seliskar, Pieroni) that would have split faster and...

Yeah, his 100 fr is way slower than you would expect given his 50 fr, so it's not really an endurance thing. He doesn't have that problem in fly, back, and breast, in which he has national-level or world-class 100s. He also has legitimate 200 times in short course fly (1:45), bk (1:43), and br...

The thing is, he lost the race well before his freestyle. The NBC broadcast didn't seem to notice this, but he wasn't taking out the swim nearly as fast as he did in Omaha where he was miles ahead of the WR pace after the first 150. Here, he was flirting with WR pace but was actually behind it...

That's a legit call out. I think the Russian athletes should be allowed to compete individually under a neutral flag with no reference to Russia and they shouldn't be allowed relays. And they shouldn't be counted as a "team" in a medal table. As it is, it's a toothless penalty.
