This isn’t a high school gym. If a guy making 30 or $40 million gets a little bit of contact underneath them while he’s dunking, the league should be insisting that he holds onto the rim as long as he needs to to avoid injury

He got hit/bodied while in the air while running full speed.. you could possibly argue that he shouldn't pull up on the rim.. but he definitely needed to use it to re-gain his balance.
Somebody’s going to get injured trying to avoid hanging on. Let’s hope it’s not one of the C’s

What kind of toss was that on the jump ball? Ref threw it barely over Murray's head.

Tatum and Brown a combined 2-12 from 3.
Celtics with a 50-42 true shot attempt advantage. +3 OReb, +5 TO advantages.
In terms of unsustainable shooting, I'd say advantage Boston. Denver isn't likely to hit at this percentage from the midrange all game long, though it's certainly possible.

God this halftime show is a an assault on my ears. I had to mute it.

I think he played halftime at a Celtics away game recently too. Awful.

Celts 1-10 from deep to end the half, with almost all of them great shots.

I expect them to play Jokic differently late in the second half, using Jrue to fight for the spot, then running a second defender once Joker dribbles

yea expecting that in the 2nd half

there were a few defensive miscues by the C's but overall pretty solid. Murray with very impressive shot-making

Watch MPJ and that’s what JT could have been if he didn’t have work ethic, drive, and balls

missed a lot of the 1h but the ball movement to get d-white the last 3 he took in the half was exquisite

Murray is a killer when healthy. I really enjoyed him taking apart the Lakers in LA in the playoffs.

Checking in. It seems like if Brown/Tatum aren't 2-12 from three, this game is comfortable. Not sure if they can match their turnover total of 1 in the second half though.

Sign me up for more NBA basketball like that. The first half was as good as it gets in terms of entertainment.

88 pace to this game. Quite slow. Denver is at 97.5. Boston 98.8 on the year.

A number of these Nuggets act like they've never committed a foul after every obvious foul.

I don’t know what the Celtics do at halftime that gets them such a slow start and some of these third quarters

Its been a two score game since the half Mark Jones. A lead change is noteworthy but at this point in the game its not quite what I would call significant.
