Honestly, you never know with him. He could just be fucking around. I've heard he's flaky.
I don't think you're gonna like what this does to the bullpen over the bulk of the season

But Exxon is too obvious a pairing with Valdez in any event.
Feel like bringing Whitlock back is going to be a mistake but the bullpen is fairly taxed already so what can you do
Whitlock’s pitch counts get too high too early. Just need to find ways to get quicker outs. Easier said than done, of course.
