Can't impose their will nearly fully healthy, against a mentally on-the-beach crystal palace at home. UCL is all they deserve. Congrats in advance to City

Brutal loss for a team that’s probably in the final year of its window. Lots of decisions to make this summer, starting with Salah.

If City win the league and Everton go down, I may need a break from the EPL for a while.

This squad has hit a wall harder than Wiley Coyote chasing the Roadrunner.

This campaign gives me a renewed appreciation for how much and how consistently Klopp squeezed results out of a pretty limited rotation for most of his tenure, title season aside - feel for him that this team did not step up when he needed it.

Would not at all be sad to see Salah sold during this changing of the guard

Liverpool’s performances have dipped noticeably since Salah came back.

So, South London does a favor for North. Let’s see if Arsenal capitalizes or if this just becomes another City march to a title now.

Villa matching Arsenal’s pace with great recovery speed. They have had men wide open on the counter but have not found them yet.

I think the balloon was burst with the FA cup loss to United , and they have got progressively worse ever since. It’s not like they have been bad - but the offence has completely dried up - choking? Pressure? Bad luck ? All probably apply.

If this were a scripted TV series, we'd call this lazy script writing. Same tropes over and over again:
-Liverpool literally slipping
-Arsenal choking
-Team from Manchester gets a stranglehold late in the title chase
-It's So Spursy

The Premier League is so upset with City's financial irregularities that they're going to penalize Everton 2 more points.
I really did laugh.

Jerry Tarkanian once told the same joke - just sub in "NCAA," "Kentucky," and "Cleveland State."

Cole Palmer does it again. It could have been 2-0, but somehow the ball didn't get the final nudge home.

Edit: Palmer sgets his second. Man it's gonna be a tough night at the office for Everton. Maybe they'll get the next goal.

Palmer, kid is something. Could have had a hat trick but a brace in under 20 minutes isn’t bad.

Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins, Dominic Solanke -- the English striker is back!
