    There's 5.5 months before week 1. They don't need to make any QB1 declarations on 4/26. They don't have to start Maye immediately if they don't think he's ready but there's also nothing stopping them from starting him if he outperforms Jacoby in camp.

    Nope, I still go with Swayman. They have 2 days off and as well as Ullmark's played, Swayman has been better. Re-evaluate for game 5. The issue last year wasn't that they didn't flat rotate. The issue was they were too late in giving Ullmark the hook.

    They weren't great together, but it's a tiny sample, 11:58 across the 2 games. Shots were 8-6 Torotno, Scoring chances, 7-4 Toronto, high danger chances 4-1 Toronto, goals were 1-0 Toronto. And they got 85% Ozone starts. I don't think you can parse out who is more at fault, neither were good...

    Peeke wasn’t on the ice for the optional skate today. The recall of Lohrei suggests Peeke will not be available. additionally, Peeke was kind of a disaster himself. 30% xGF% with an ozone start at 54%. I think we will see a new bottom pair tomorrow, just don’t know who.

    Lohrei called up. I would play him. A big problem is they can’t break the puck out, something he excels at. A risk defensively but worth the gamble. They can swap Shattenkirk for Wotherspoon or Forbort to maintain the stay-at-home PK presence that Peeke was providing.
