Bergeron from Smith! Nice work by Marchy and SMith in the corner, perfect cut to the goal and finish by Bergy.

Tied up.

The opponents this weekend are pretty crappy, but maybe the change to the lines is working?

Nice effort today. Let the deluge continue!

(Relieved that McAvoy’s bear hug/body slam didn’t break Hall).

PP. How about a half dozen to round it out?

Nice to finally play a team that was late getting out of bed and had too many Mimosa's at brunch. That said, Bruins played well and Swayman was good when it counted -- keep it up boys!

The new lines are working in this weekend's tiny sample. Yesterday all four lines had at least 74% xGF. Today the Coyle and Haula lines were overall bad: 18% and 33% respectively. But the Nosek line kept it together with 60% xGF. Funny though how yesterday was a close comeback win (76% xGF total) and today was a blowout (65.5% xGF total).

The key thing is that Smith on the 1st line doesn't seem like much of a downgrade. 0.97 to 0.1 expected goals (90.8%) today. Maybe Pasta getting going will help spark the middle 6.

That was the best they’ve played all season. They were going to the net, they carried the play physically. They need more of that going forward.

Everyone played well except Forbort, who continues to handle the puck like a grenade, costing them the only goal they gave up, on what I counted as one of five icings.
