It has been a problem this year but that was not a softie.BoSoxFink said:He makes the tough save and then gives up a softie.

Not sure that goal qualifies as a softie.BoSoxFink said:He makes the tough save and then gives up a softie.
I'm sure your knowledge on goaltender positioning is vastBoSoxFink said:Ehhhh, it was deflected but his positioning wasnt great
if it was going 5 feet wide he didn't need to be that far out. Whatever though, it happened, score a goal Bruins! Stop it with this frustrating ass season!cshea said:He was positioned to save the shot from the point. It was headed 5 feet wide and hit a guys skate and redirected in.
He's got to be that far out just in case the puck is on net.BoSoxFink said:if it was going 5 feet wide he didn't need to be that far out. Whatever though, it happened, score a goal Bruins! Stop it with this frustrating ass season!

he would never have scored 50 here, but 35-40 possibly, and that makes me sad too.Smiling Joe Hesketh said:I watch these games and think of Seguin on pace to score 50 and I get sad.

While hockey is the main sport where getting a ticket to the Playoffs is all that you need to win it all, I would support something like this.TheShynessClinic said:I know it's going to be considered crazy talk - but the Bruins should really consider trading Chara at the deadline to a team that thinks he could put them over the top. He hasn't been great and age isn't going to make him any better.
What he pulls in could be franchise altering.

I don't think you're crazy, but as has already been said, this may not be the best time. I'd write off this season as lost and see if I couldn't move some of the salary deadwood (Kelly comes straight to mind).TheShynessClinic said:I know it's going to be considered crazy talk - but the Bruins should really consider trading Chara at the deadline to a team that thinks he could put them over the top. I think a team will look at his leadership, his experience, and hope he's still recovering from his injury and due to rebound. I think you could reasonably expect a good pro player, a high end prospect, and a first round pick for him.LogansDad said:I don't think you are crazy at all TSC, but I'm not sure they would get back what you think they would get back, because Chara has been a shell of his former self this season.
To me, the only untouchables on the team are Dougie and Bergeron.
