Its so obvious that this is all between their ears. Its getting increasingly frustrating to watch. They need a game like that game against Dallas back in 2010 to get their heads straight.

Not nearly as talented, that team could roll 4 lines, this team can barely roll 2

J44 not really the point. There are a lot of good players on this team they just aren't focused or playing well together. A game like that would at least spark some of that. One hopes.

There was a story from Arizona earlier this year that after a particularly bad game, the Coyotes GM Don Maloney stormed into the dressing room, ripped his team a new one, and said that everyone who has any form of a NMC/NTC you're agents will be hearing from me and I want a list in 24 hours.

Chiarelli might want to consider something similar. At least against Ottawa and Toronto the team played half decently. This is just a mess today. All the talk about how they're better than this and blah blah blah, they go and lay an egg against arguably the worst team in hockey.

I dunno, there's an awful lot of stationary hockey being played too. There's a lot of coasting and bad passes being made because some players don't seem to want to skate. A good number of Bruins are looking old and slow.

Agreed, but that's a mentality issue rather than an actual issue.  The overwhelming majority of the players on this team are not old or slow.  They are just playing that way.

Bergy!  Finally.

Smith and Krejci look really good together.  Hopefully Smith starts burying those.

55% Corsi for Carolina. Not a very good effort at all for the Bruins today. Important 20 minutes here.

The Campbell line better not see the ice the rest of the day.

Campbell a -9 Corsi, Paille -7, Cunningham -5. Shorten the bench, Claude.

Alamogordo
Brick says "Gotta do what you do best the next 13 minutes"

So the Bruins start doing that and turn the puck over in the defensive zone every chance they get.

1 SOG this period.

The Hurricanes are so bad that the Bruins may just sneak out of here with a point or two, but a very disappointing effort.

2 shots in the third period of a game where the team was "supposed" to play with urgency against the worst team in the East.  This has to be rock bottom.  Right?
