Pastrnak is supposed to play tonight. No morning skate so Eriksson's availability is unknown. I have no idea what Claude's lineup looks like tonight. Legs could be an issue tonight, Claude shortened the bench last night and leaned heavily on Bergeron, Krejci and Lucic.

17/37/20
63/46/18
23/34/88
38/11/61

Maybe?

He got hurt at the end of the 2nd, came back to start the 3rd, then didn't play the final 9:00 of regulation and OT. I suppose Claude could've just benched him but that seems unlikely. Soderberg and Kelly got regular shifts after Loui's last.

I think he's day-to-day. Wouldn't be surprised to see him not play tonight.

Could be quite a mess of lines, but whatever.

Let's fucking WIN!

I just posted in the Jack thread too. That was cringe-inducing. Going to try out the SAP button trick in that thread to see if I get hockey only sounds.

You don't see many 2 on 1s against on a 5 on 3.

The 5 on 4 PP looked really good at the end though. Good puck movement.

Bad D zone plays from Pastrnak there led to some extended zone time for NJ. Lazy backcheck and an ill-advised reversal. Glad it didn't cost them.

Would have liked Pastrnak to think shot first there and drive hard to the net.

I also like Paille's game a lot better having him separated from Campbell. Not saying I'd want him with Bergy and Lucic all the time, but he's been noticeably better so far.

Woof at first glance that looked like a bad call and just like Jagr being Jagr with body positioning.

It's like all the bad penalty karma the Bruins have had the past few seasons suddenly stopped this period. Oof.

Watching Krug walk the blueline with the puck is just magical. He started that whole thing from the beginning.

Great shot by Looch too, he's looked great tonight so far.

Shot attempts 27-6 for the Bruins that period and the Devils didn't attempt a shot in the final 10:47 of the period. Much better.

There must be some tragic Corsi numbers for the Devils that period.

How the fuck do you manage to play 41 NHL games without getting a 5 on 3?
By being dead last in the NHL in PP opportunities by a large margin. Through 41 GP they're averaging barely over 2 PP opportunities a game, it's a stretch to ask them both to come at the same time!

It was this weird rambling speech about the cold and sharpening axes and I don't even know what.

Seth Hegelson is -8, Cammalleri is -12.

4 skaters have a 0 CF %. Hegelson, Ryder, Zubrus, Havlat.
