I don't know if Pastrnak is the answer, but it's pretty tough to ask guys like Griffith and Fraser to step right into big minutes on that line, going up against top defensive players. Having Krejci visibly improved things and I thought Griffith was fine, but it's a tough position. Maybe you try to go a little more top-heavy and bump up Smith or Loui.

Having Lucic be even remotely noteworthy would also go a long way.

I've been on the dump Lucic bandwagon for 2 years now. I wholeheartedly agree with seeing what is out there for him. I am just not a fan of him as a player period and never have been. However the problem with trading him now is that his value is at a low now.....

Just to be clear, league-wide, the value of 6' 4", 250lb wingers who you can pencil in for 60 pts are at an all-time low after four crappy games?

By this logic, Jamie Benn should be available at low price, given his shitty start.

No, he isn't a Bruin.

jamie Benn is far more talented a player than Looch. That's not even a fair conparison.

We've been through this all before. I'm not changing my mind, people can call me stupid all they want if they disagree, but Lucic is way overrated in this city.

They are going to struggle to score all year. This could be the 2010 team all over again.
2 guys that have no business being on the 1st line, and a gimp, is no way to distribute ice time. Need to switch the 1st and 3rd lines, or move #2 and #3 up one.

Milan had better production the second half of last year than in the first half. 27 points in his first 40 games, 32 in the closing 40. He's coming off wrist surgery which limited him in offseason workouts and training camp. He's off to a slow start, but I'm willing to give him a bit more than 4 games to shake off some rust. I don't see how trading him for a top 6 winger solves anything. You fix the right wing problem by creating a hole at left wing. Are we ready for Chris Kelly to play on the Krejci line? Or Simon Gagne?

I'm usually the overly emotional one after frustrating losses/runs of losses.  But... I just can't get too worked up yet.  The offense sucks something awful right now.  But it's so early.  Getting Gagne in there is a good no-risk first move.

If they're still scoring as much as I did in high school in another month, then I'll worry.

Their best line is their 3rd line, who has their anticipated 1st line winger on the right side to continue the swedish connection. Thus, the trickle down effect when compared to a recovering Lucic who has less endurance/strength due to the wrist surgery, a clearly hobbled Krejci, and a rookie playing 1st line minutes in Griffith, it's not shocking to see the offense struggle. Add in Marchand not creating any offense, and Bergeron carrying that line, and we have discovered the issue.

I think they' d be much better off trying Eriksson on the first line, shifting their RW du jour (Griffith, Fraser, et al) down to the 3rd line (with presumably less minutes) and possibly throwing Spooner on the LW with Yeti and Kelly.

Alternatively, play the Yeti line as your 1st line, and relegate Krejci's line to 3rd line minutes.

They won't do any of this, so I expect the woes to continue. Starting Seth fucking Griffith on the first line is not the answer.
