When the B's have been playing their best the last few years, they use good pressure and good passes to get the puck to a guy that has a good shot.  It doesn't mean that they'll score, but it means they get a good quality look on goal.  They also have been able to throw good pucks on goal and anticipate a bouncing puck somewhere near the goal, and guys like Lucic/Marchand have fed off those opportunites.

This 2nd period the team has looked like that.  They've been making good passes to open guys who have good looks, and Niemi has had more than one puck bouncing dangerously out of his reach.  Whatever they're doing this period, they need to keep doing, because its working

Man, that's a tough question, favorite goal: Horton's vs Montreal, or Bergy's vs Toronto.  I think I'd have to go with Horton because of the intensity of that rivalry and how much it meant when you consider the entire 2011 playoff run... but man, that comeback against the Leafs was just incredible.

Dominate the period, suck for a minute, come out behind.  Isn't that the story of the last half dozen seasons or so?

Bergy line getting smoked, only 30% ES Corsi through 2 and on ice for both goals against. You don't see that often.

Watching the Bs with my 5 year-old son Emmett tonight. I flip over to the Isles/Leafs on a break and he asked me who are the Toronto "Make-Believes"? I explained that they were the Maple Leafs and he recognized his funny mistake. In the next breath, at the next news tease segment, they were showing ER workers covered in anti-Ebola protective garb and Emmett loudly exclaimed "Beekeepers!" Just so I'm not the only one enjoying this here evening in Brooklyn.

The Island
I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with Chara. He's just having a bunch of trouble picking up the puck.

Also, I'm watching on a huge delay. Just saw Soup's tip.

Yeah, I've been wondering all night if Clode let him get drunk before the game.  I dunno what's going on with him.
