Traveled to Hawaii today. Believe there is a game tomorrow but my clock is all effed up.
Poitras will lead us.
Poitras will lead us.
After barely making it to the first intermission for the last three, I’m hoping to make it through at least two periods, possibly three, tonight.8:30 ET start, BTW. (And on ESPN.)
Damn time zones.
Unfortunately yep,Per Fluto, Lucic left the AM skate.
Wouldn't expect him tonight.
Because people won't watch on a Saturday, especially during college football season. And it gives this night a bit of a boost, especially up against a 2 game NBA season opener. ESPN is pushing it hard (which they wouldn't do on a Saturday) and it's probably easier for arena scheduling as well.Rhetorical question for the league office: why schedule a full 16-game slate on a random Tuesday in the first weeks of the season? Why not a Saturday, where you could wall-to-wall games from 1-midnight ET?
Which clearly they could have predicted before...yesterday.Also during game 7 of an LCS including a decent hockey market
Why is it in commercial?Frozen Frenzy is dumb, the idea doesn't work for hockey
What is so egregious about it that hurts your viewing experience ?Frozen Frenzy is dumb, the idea doesn't work for hockey
Huh? I don't pick up what you're trying to say my badWhy is it in commercial?
RedZone doesn’t have commercials
It's the unpredictability of hockey. You gotta hope you catch something happening. They could jump games all night and feasibly catch no goals. I'd rather just watch a game. What is so egregious about it that hurts your viewing experience ?
It may not end up working, but kudos to them for trying. Also even if the channel itself doesn't work, the schedule idea and broadcasting on ESPN+ is worth trying too.Frozen Frenzy is dumb, the idea doesn't work for hockey
They should call it Ice Surfing.Frozen Frenzy is dumb, the idea doesn't work for hockey
Yeah, I should have said it doesn't work for me. I'm all for anything trying to get the league more exposure, and that set up could draw in people. Hell last game thread I was saying they should think about bringing back the glowing puck with a toggle since I hated it haIt may not end up working, but kudos to them for trying. The Ducks feed had that. At least based on the highlights I watched Monday morning.Yeah, I should have said it doesn't work for me. Yeah I remember that being mentioned last game, does it work? The Ducks feed had that. At least based on the highlights I watched Monday morning.
Again it was highlights only. I didn’t like it. I didn’t realize what was happening at the start and I thought the trail was a broken stick.Yeah I remember that being mentioned last game, does it work?
And for the record, I'm with you that the Red Zone channel is dumb and I have no desire to watch it myself. So we're on the same page there.Yeah, I should have said it doesn't work for me. I’d prefer watching random clips of teams that I would never watch than see a pregame of Dale et al debate whether the Boston goalie combo deserves an A or A-Huh? I don't pick up what you're trying to say my bad
edit ah yeah didn't see the second part you added. the backround TVs had weird shit going on
