Miami (oh, Miami!)
I voted for Wright, but I wanted to say Panda. Not having him on the team is such a huge plus. (Leon's been great, of course, but Wright's early season long and complete games may be the only reason we have a bullpen at this point.)

La Mancha.
I was all set to vote Leon but at the last second went with Wright. The offense would still be great without Leon, but Wright really kept the rotation going there for a while. The difference between what he provided and that which the next man up likely would have might be the difference between a 4-game lead in the division and being neck-and-neck with both BAL and TOR right now.

There really are a bunch of great story lines within the context of 10th Player Award:
  • Porcello -- From what a disaster this contract is to Cy Young candidate.
  • Wright -- From 6th Starter entering the season to All-Star.
  • Leon -- From 4th String Catcher to .906 OPS
  • JBJ -- From "Can he hit his weight" to .853 OPS (25 HR, 86 RBI)
