HAMPUS.

Yep the Bruins took us on a magical mystery tour on that last win. Roaring back from 2-5, Hall batting the puck down and tying it with the goalie on the bench, killing off a penalty in OT, Ullmark yanked, Swayman holding the line and then hobbling off, Ullmark the triumphant return, Lauko’s first goal/Uncle Nick’s assist, goals by all 4 lines, points by 13 Bruins, playing most of the game with 5 defenders, all capped off by Lindholm’s end to end rush finished off with a snipe to the glove side top corner.

And Foligno putting a bow on it with a more than replacement level hug.

Are you not entertained?

Yes, we’re hoping for good news on the injury front, curious about the eventual roster/cap moves, and eagerly awaiting Charlie Mac getting a spin on the Montgomerycoaster.

But right now, in this moment, we’ll gladly watch the 19 players that take the ice Thursday night (And Keith Kincaid as he opens and closes the door). Because they believe and we believe.

The Rangers are toast. They just don’t know it yet.

Score early. Score often.

Win.

deep inside Guido territory
The Rangers have been up and down this season. They started out really hot winning 3 of their first 4 games and looking pretty good doing it. Then they lost their next 4 games. They come into tonight having won their last 3 games. Artemi Panarin has been great so far. He is tied for 4th most points in the NHL with 16. Mika Zibanejad has also been good having 13 points. I am not sure who NYR will start tonight between Shesterkin and Halak as they played Tuesday and they play Sunday but my guess is Shesterkin because Halak has been so bad. Shesty has been his usual self with a 6-0-2 record, 2.22 GAA, and .921 save percentage. Halak has been terrible. He sports an 0-3 record with a 3.69 GAA and an .867 save percentage.

Should be an up and down game with two teams that are pretty potent offensively. I would think(well I hope) that Ullmark would get the start tonight with either Swayman or Kinkaid getting the start Saturday in Toronto.

Shesterkin reached "he's killing my team but he's great to watch anyway" territory last year. A 1-0 game would not surprise me.

So if I have the Hulu basic package I can watch tonight's game? Or do I need some ESPN+ add on? I'm in Massachusetts, if that makes a difference.

MLB and Apple+ wish to have a word with you.
NHL still takes the cake. I got ESPN+ in large part because it included the NHL package, but I still can't watch games that NHL Network carries, since YTTV doesn't carry them (nor did DirecTV when I had that unless you were willing to pay extra--this despite having NBA TV, MLB Network, and NFL Network on basic tiers). So I'm OK for tonight, but I guess anyone w/o Center Ice, ESPN+, or Hulu + Live TV is SOL. The NFL could get away with DirecTV exclusivity because of its infrequence and the game's popularity. I'm not quite sure what the NHL's strategy is here. Maybe they'll resurrect the Outdoor Life Network to carry games...

The difference to me is that MLB and NFL don't require paid subscriptions to watch the home team. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't follow baseball, but I believe the Apple+ games are actually free you just have to go to their platform to watch it. The Thursday NFL games are simulcast on local TV affiliates in the two game markets so you don't need a Prime subscription to watch the team in your market. That seems like a nuisance but reasonable. In addition to paying $200/month or whatever for a cable/streaming service that includes NESN, the NHL is also asking you to pony up $8.99/month to watch 3 additional Bruins games. That's the ridiculous part to me. Put them on ESPN+ but make them free for fans in Boston/New York or simulcast on NESN/MSG.

I don't think the basic package works. You probably need ESPN+ or Hulu + Live TV.
Wonderful. Is anyone who has such access willing to point their computer toward their TV as part of SoSH group "zoom chat"?

(Kidding. I know that's illegal. I'll just listen on the radio and "watch" the game in my head.)

Not unless you pay for ESPN+ as a Hulu add-on. I went for the Disney+ package that includes Hulu and ESPN+. It’s 8 bucks a month at the moment.

Has coverage started yet? I'm in ESPN + for the first time and it says it hasn't started yet, even though it says coverage starts at 7Pm. I cannot wait to cancel this in 3 hours.

How is that not holding or interference behind the net? So long as that is the standard all game

Not gonna lie, this is my first time watching live sports on Hulu, or anything live for that matter. The quality is top notch, better than cable I'd say

TVA Sports. RDS went rogue on our cable package, and I’m not willing to pay $18 a month for it.
Isn’t it every Canadian’s birthright to receive everything in both French and English? Even the hookers on Ste. Catherine’s Street have to offer you a fuck in your choice of language.
