I don't like getting old, but I love that I'm old enough to understand this reference.
If you can try a step back 3 with no ball movement when it’s not even a good shot, you have to do it
There's almost no drive and kick tonight. It's so frustrating to watch. Some of that is Cleveland's D is solid, but that's mostly abotu the back line...not the perimeter guys.
Stevens and Brissett are great energy guys and accomplished stone masons. Hard to get wing minutes in 2023 when you can’t throw it into the ocean.
I’m curious—why so many minutes for Stevens tonight as opposed to say Oshae? Is there something in this specific matchup that Joe likes Stevens better?
Is it ever. Just disgusting. Thankfully they're playing good D. I just can't stand watching the offense at times like this.
Scal just speculated - and it makes sense - that Stevens familiarity with the Cavs sets might be an advantage.
I mean... they had four of their five best players on the bench and extended the lead.
I think he's running Brissett, Blanton and Stevens through games when he has opportunities to see how they react. The C's jumped out to an early lead tonight, so it was a good chance to get someone early minutes, and it seemed like it was Stevens turn.
At least, thats all I can make of the choices sometimes.
I guess Hauser still apparently hasn't earned 4th quarter minutes with regularity, and it's driving me fucking insane.

My read is it is both the rotation you suggest and also matchups---they like Stevens' strength tonight, I am guessing. But it does feel like overall they are just experimenting
Its the NBA and the Cavs are decent. The only response I have is they are a good team.
