Brennan Johnson out with a nasty gash/concussion 30 minutes into his return to Nottingham. 0-0 so far between Forest and Spurs.

Spurs lead 1-0 at the break. Richarlison scores for the second game in a row off a header following a perfect cross from Kulusevski.

The Forest crowd had been giving Johnson some sass, but they got awful quiet when he got hurt. Gibbs-White was visibly shaken, I guess they're old buds.

Kulu just smashed one, good night for him. Forest down two at 66'.

Cooper and Forest are in some trouble. They don't seem to have the same moxie they had last season. They weren't a top-half side but they were a tough out, especially at home. They can be gotten through now.

Commentators saying that Bissouma's going to be sent off. Let's see, they're VARing it-

Yep. Straight leg, studs right into the shin. Red all day long for me.

They didn't show a ton of it on TV, but from the look of his shirt sleeve he appeared to be gushing blood.

Luton on the board. The Cherries keeper go caught in no man’s land on the corner - took a couple steps out towards the ball, then started shuffling back, watched the ball fly past. Oofff.

Love Matt Turner, but I'm afraid he sucks right now.
That was the type of sequence that can derail a keeper for a long time. Already under pressure for making mistakes with his feet, he gifts the ball away and then makes a bad error on the shot. I can’t get my 8 and 9 year olds to stop dropping to their knees, either, but Turner isn’t a U10 keeper.

Also, credit where it’s due, the shot was placed very well. From that angle and distance, smashing it at the keeper’s head is good technique. The hands have a long way to go to block the shot.

I love Matt Turner and hoped he’d be the guy to continue the US’s goalkeeping tradition, but it looks less likely by the day.

The Raul Jimenez red card is something to see. I thinking that's a targeting ejection in college football. I guess he got his money's worth at least.

Holy crap, if there were a color beyond red he would get that. Is there a black card? It’s like one of those hockey hits that’s so bad they charge the guy with assault

I didn’t get this at first, itt felt salacious but I couldn’t get what was happening
Yeah, it wasn’t very clear. I rejected: “Grealish kept on, by ass.“ “Grealish puts foot off, but ass saves the day.”

nowhere, really
Something bad’s happening in Bournemouth - Luton player dropped to his knees and then went down with no precipitating contact. Paramedics came out and worked for about 10 minutes before stretchering him off, and now it’s been about another 10 minutes with a silent stadium, play suspended, and no announcements made…

Edit - it’s LUT captain, Lockyer. Redditors are saying that Bournemouth’s doctor has relayed that Lockyer’s “alert and responsive” but take that for what it’s worth…

It was Tom Lockyer, who had previously collapsed during the promotion final in May. Hoping for the best.

Seems odd that Peacock hasn't gone back to studio or cut to another game. It's just been 15-20 minutes of people in the crowd.

Scary stuff for Lockyer, glad he's alright

Foden clearly not really used to defending inside his own area, not sure what he was thinking there

BreakingLuton confirm Lockyer suffered cardiac arrest
Our medical staff have confirmed that [Tom Lockyer] suffered cardiac arrest on the pitch, but was responsive by the time he was taken off on the stretcher.
He received further treatment inside the stadium, for which we once again thank the medical teams from both sides.
Tom was transferred to hospital, where we can reassure supporters that he is stable and currently undergoing further tests with his family at his bedside.
We would like to thank everyone for their support, concern and loving messages for Locks.

Toffees jump out ahead in the Dyche derby, Onana header off a corner

Burnley keeper Trafford has a couple outstanding saves. Being touted as the future of England. But he’s a skinny fellow. Can be overpowered

Big Mick Keggers torches his old side. 0-2 and Burnley haven’t troubled Pickford at all. Burnley are not a good side.

So Lockyer also collapsed during the Championship playoff final, after which he had a heart procedure. Although he was cleared, this is scary it has happened again. I hope he does what's best for his long term health, whatever that ends up being.

If he does have to hang up his playing boots, i can see coaching as an option. He's got leadership qualities. He's well loved at Luton, i reckon they'll support him anyway they can.

Any ideas what the Prem will do in regards to the Luton/Bournemouth game?

Based on their track record they’ll probably replay it sometime between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.

Peacock was showing a single game feed. It's whatever the world feed shows.
I understand that's the feed they show for the game. I would imagine the technology exists for Peacock to turn that off and cut to another game or something. Not a big deal, just wondering.

Boring James needs a yellow for that. Thats the kind of no card that lets everyone know they can push the limits with fouls.

After all the beautiful play by Arsenal and effective defending by Brighton, that’s the goal?
