73 combined shots in the midrange this game, 36 for the Cs. Probably what you'd expect from two good defenses. Orlando was 6/16 at the rim, Cs 16/23.

Nice to see the Celtics handle this pain in the ass team. The bench is turning into a weapon.

Also, the refs are definitely going to cause a blown knee or two with these absolutely insane hanging on the rim Ts.

6-16 at the rim seems not good.

I caught a few minutes on the radio while driving between Christmas shopping activities. Grande and Max were saying Jaylen is in the midst of the best stretch of his career. I agree with them. Today he was 12-20 including 5-8 from three for 31 with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 2 turnovers.

Such a joy to see Jaylen dominating and this team full perform.

The shooting is great, but it’s Jaylen’s vision, passing and defense that have stood out to me the last couple of nights. He’s been Pippenesque.

Love it. 6 dimes led the team. He is lobbying for the all defensive team and I hope he gets what he wants.

Not sure what one could even say. A few loose turnovers dribbling into traffic. A little settling for a contested 3. But they absolutely pantsed these guys today. Wore them down in the 4th when by rights, they should be the ones worn out.
Oh, the complaints will be there. They didn't execute 100% perfectly and we know there are those in our midst who demand perfection in victory or else it diminishes the value of the win.

That said, pray for health all season long.

There, you hit on the complaint that's valid: playing Porzingis for one second more than was necessary to secure the victory.

We're almost to the point of the season where we start giving each of our 6 starters a week or so off with the Hellenic Flu, in turn, for just general R&R. Call it the Popovich Management Program.

The amazing thing about this season:

JB from 3P: .327.
JT from 3P: .341.
KP from 3P: .326.

Pretty confident that all three of them will end the season with higher 3P% than right now.

It’s fun when JB plays like the highest paid player in the league
Even if he isn't the highest paid player on BOS! :)

It was obvious to me that the Celtics, and especially Jaylen Brown, were not happy with the way Orlando blew them out in that tournament game. They were locked in for both of these games pretty much the entire time.

Both Cleveland and Orlando were nemeses last year, and to win four games in a row against them in double home games is really impressive

It really gives us a glimpse of what this team can be. Yes, they're going to lose some games that they "shouldn't." It's a long regular season.
But it sure looked like they circled these Orlando games on their schedule after the loss, and they kicked butt. It's all about health, IMO. Just stay healthy.

Hoping the home court thing snowballs and these guys decide they actually want the record
Even if they drop five games at home this year, establishing a really strong home court advantage will help in the playoffs for sure. After starting out 12-3 at home in the playoffs since JT was a rookie, it has gone 12-13 at home since the bubble season with Tatum as the leading superstar.
