Honestly I know just getting into the playoffs is all that usually matters, but this team is just not any good save for one stretch where charlie Jacobs put pressure on them. I seriously believe this team doesn't have enough talent and they are just complacent. They desperately need a shakeup. Trade some of the older guys away and possibly move on from one of their coach/GM.

I don't think they lack talent as much as 2/3 of the defensemen aged or regressed bigtime, in addition to the vanishing Lucic, Smith, and fourth line. Teams don't overcome that.

aging or regressing to me means lack of talent. When you age you lose talent and sonetimes players aren't as good as one year they had, like Reilly Smith for example.

I still think they can make the playoffs, but at this point I don't see how they can get very far if they do. That said, I don't see the value in selling low just to make moves for moves sake.
