That whole segment was annoying. Can Tatum
and the Celtics ever get by Jimmy Butler? Um….
Or get by Giannis? Um… or Embiid? Um and Um and Um.

Also, I don’t know if anybody heard but a few players were out for the Knicks.
They started the segment by saying they were nitpicking.. basically trying to figure out how the C's could lose in the playoffs.. and then went on to talk about the main reasons being Tatum outplaying other stars or that this team hasn't won it together in past years..
Did the three of them not know that KP and Drue weren't here last year? Because they all failed to bring up that possibly relevant point.. Man I hope they win this year so this kind of junk 'analysis' goes away.

Wilbon famously hated the offseason moves by The Celtics. Nothing would make him happier for them not to win it all.

Tatum gets penalized because he started going to the ECF year one. He is a week away from turning 26. How old was Jordan when he won his first title? 28.
Shaq? 28. Hakeem? 31. Steph? 27. Giannis? 26. LeBron? 27. Jokic? 28.

I understand how media narratives work, but there should be more emphasis on how he has improved his game year by year and look at how much success he has had already, and less talk about “but he’s never made it over the hump.” But enough of me whining. The only answer is to win the thing and eliminate the narrative.

And if he doesn't roll his ankle, who knows?

Agreed. He's just been so close so many times. It's more visible. And ripe for that narrative.

I'm headed to the Garden for the game tomorrow night. Anyone have any idea when the game will start (ticket says 7:30 start but it's on TNT so I don't know if that really means 8:00 or whatever), and more importantly, assuming no OT, the approximate time it's likely to end?

I would expect 7:45 tip. And regulation games are typically 2.5 hours on average with no OT.
