No it doesn't. That's infinitely worse.

I know that doesn't fit your shtick though.
Not my schitck... there is no way Seattle played a penalty free game up to this point. So why not lay off the attacking of the poster.

You pollute every game thread whining about officiating over and over and over all the time. This isn't an attack, just stating facts, but I understand why you'd defensively resort to saying that.

Glad the game is tied.

The one handed swipe by Heinen was unnecessary but that’s. A frustrating call when the Kraken player’s face was below waist level.

Next time, go one whole game without posting anything about the officiating. I’m curious if you’ll have anything interesting to contribute. You might - I'm not trying to be an asshole. I'm honestly curious.

Looks like the Bruins and I woke up just in time.

There was a wrinkle on that PP with all the passing back from just before the blue line to guys rushing in from center ice. Didn’t really lead to the goal, I don’t think, but it was pretty blurry.

It's so weird how 5 of 8 seems like it would feel better if they had lost one and gone 2-1-1 instead of 1-0-3. These OT losses are just brutal.

At least there aren't anymore west coast games.

Good god it’s not lazy
I'm sorry, I know I'm in the minority on that take and I'm fine with that, but that's a lazy shootout attempt, that never works, goalie has far to much time to get set. I get what Pasta is trying to do with hiding the shot, but it's never there.

I legit don’t know what he’s trying to do, so it looks lazy to me. But I also don’t under hockey nearly as well as others…what’s the intent of his approach? Is it like lulling the goalie and then using a quick shot?

Stating it never works is what's lazy. He's scored using the move twice this year. Once in a penalty shot, once in a shootout. Before this season he was a career 9/37 in penalty shots and shootouts, 24%. This year, since introducing the move, he's 3/6 50% whith that move accounting for 2 of the goals. Seems like he's doing better with than without it. Hell, his breakaway in the first period where he scored looked similar but not a peep about that being lazy.

I mean, lazy? Do you think he hopped over the boards and said "fuck it" I don't really care? What would make it not lazy a missed attempt where he skated faster or did a deke? Was Yamamoto's attempt where he went slow and deked a million times but scored lazy?

IMO his attempt last night wasn't the same as either video, very similar, but not the same. Last night he basically stopped and gave the goalie time to set before he shot unlike in the videos. His first goal also while similar wasn't the same either.

Yamamoto's wasn't lazy, it was a really good attempt and caused Ully to shift. Beniers was the bad attempt IMO.

I'll never understand why someone having a differing opinion on shootout attempts is some huge deal in general. I personally think it was a lazy attempt, especially compared to his others. Do I think he's a lazy player? Of course not. He's a phenomenal goal scorer with one of the best shots in the league that gives it 100% every shift. I thought last night he made a lazy attempt on his typical move. That's all. Maybe "lazy" is the wrong word to describe it, but I've struggled to find a different one. It's my opinion, shared by a few people that are all obviously in the minority. You very much disagree and that's fine. I respect your opinion and appreciate the discussion.
