I miss Bruins playoff hockey. I don't miss the angina and sweaty palms and not being able to sleep after games. But I'd put up with it.

The hockey season is over and Canoeing season has not started. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF!
I'll be in Boston this summer and I too enjoy explaining to my friends that I can't do something on a certain day because I'm hanging out with a bunch of people I know, but not really, because we only communicate over the Internet and then they give me a weird look and it gets kind of awkward and stuff.
I really enjoyed Knuckles vs Numbers from Grantland. About how analytics is leading to the fall of the enforcer. 9 minutes in length.

This season fucking sucked. Brutally inconsistent hockey all year long. And I love the NHL playoffs, but I'm struggling with the Bruins not being in it.
At least theres the consolation prize of watching Tampa spank the shit out of the Habs.

I sort of agreed to take part in the Big Man Run at the end of the month. It is a 4 mile run, where one has to stop and consume a hot dog and beer after each mile. I think you have to be 200lbs in order to participate, so I am getting started on the hotdog/beer portion of the training this weekend.

How's the weekend of June 20-21 look for knocking a few white balls around? If we do it early enough we can have a beer or 3 and watch some of the open after the round.
I may be able to do the 20-21 but wouldn't be able to do the weekend after. Really taking a stance here.
For the summer, then back out to Michigan for another 9 months. Then hopefully Boston afterward but that depends on whether my company likes me and/or if I try to recruit for some other locale within the continental United States.
