Nah. Presti has always loved Oladipo. Oladipo is a likely replacement for Waiters. No way OKC matches on an offer sheet for Waiters this summer.

Clearly you should be in charge. They need someone who can look at a draft from 5 years ago and tell them who they should have picked.

Well, they've got some strong, athletic young kids now. At least Yabusele can shoot. I've seen the Millsap comp, at least on offense.

It isn't just about hindsight...I could have listed 10 other players.
Just saying Fab Melo was a complete waste of a pick that didn't contribute anything to the Celtics.
Ainge has done a great job getting the Celts back to competitiveness, but it has not been through the draft.
French league players usually translate, and he projects as something like Paul Milsap with less defense and more shooting.

I shouldn't be in charge. Just stop. I am allowed to be critical of the picks especially when compared to other players that were available.
I just don't like the way Ainge drafts. Perhaps we could agree that neither myself or Ainge should be in charge of the draft.
I'm as guilty of this as anyone, but I think we treat mocks as a gold standard when we really shouldn't, especially after the lottery.
General sense on Yabusele is that he can play offensively, but his defense is a major question mark.
Obviously people disagree on the specific players, but I'm just happy to see them going for higher upside guys. That has been my complaint with Ainge recently.
Cut the shit. People are entitled to varying opinions whether you agree with Ainge 100% of the time or not. Ultimately, none of us know much of anything about these guys.
He certainly seems like a guy who has the build and athleticism to do so if he puts in the effort.

I agree. But people complaining about JR Giddens and Fab Melo is ridiculous given the very small odds of getting a good NBA player at those spots.

I agree on Giddens 100% (end of the first round), but Melo could have been a good pick (22nd).
Is there any reasonable chance he is gone before 23?
