Morata comes off the bench, talk about impact, he's only gone and pulled one back for the cosmopolitan money grubbers. It's 1-3 and all to play for. Mon Dyche son.
IndisputablyBut he has hair that is Chelsea through and through.
He was livid. Absolutely livid. I like Conte moved out of the way as Cesc walked off the pitch and down the tunnel then he moved right back once he'd pissed off. Class.Cesc sent off. Chelsea down to 9.
Cold comfort but FWIW I think Palace are not the only team that are going to get beat by Huddersfield this yearYou wait all off-season, you get excited about a new manager and a new system, the team picks up a few complementary pieces to a team already with a lot of talent, and then you see an absolutely wretched performance against a team the just got promoted with a negative goal differential. Fuck. Every year they keep doing this to me.
I don't. It's not in my DNA to support a football team, and I'm neither Catholic or Protestant and i hate the ulsterisation of Scotland, it's sport and politics. But, i really like them, watch all the games. And more and more since the referendum and since I moved to the Southside (i live ten minutes walk from Ibrox, used to live two mins from the ground).Hey Fletch, SydneySox was claiming on FB last week that you don't support Celtic.
So they'll be short next week against Spurs? That's too bad.Cesc sent off. Chelsea down to 9.
This, absolutelyI'll admit I was skeptical of the Rooney signing but he was far and away the man of the match for Everton...just in a different class than everyone else on the pitch today (except maybe Pickford who was also superb although he didn't have much to do until the last 30 min or so).
quel dommageSo they'll be short next week against Spurs? That's too bad.
This was one of the worst performances by Palace I have ever seen - and that is something with quite a lot of competition. This is up there with the 4-0 game against Sunderland last year. The sort of game you think that your manager might lose his job over if it wasn't his first game.
The whole back three was on the whole pretty lousy. But Fosu-Mensah (nice autocorrect with tofu!) started and made one excellent goal-saving tackle in the box. He was a relative bright spot. I'm happy to see more of him, and we probably need more of his kind of speed if they're going to keep playing 3 at the back.Result aside where did Tofu Mensah play and how did he do
The yellow card was something less than outstandingOutstanding refereeing by Michael Oliver to see and call that hand ball
When was the last time he lost an FA Cup? Probably before this curse kicked off.And yet Wenger is Teflon.
Conte is a bald denierBut he has hair that is Chelsea through and through.
Red card to Shelvey. That was a boring half of football.
And that next foul on Alli could have been one as well, although it would have been a soft one, but still.Sweet lord Jonjo is an idiot. Right in front of Marriner
He's such a shit. Unfortunately he's probably the lynchpin for the team.Sweet lord Jonjo is an idiot. Right in front of Marriner
Spurs, City, and United all looked a step above this weekend. You can talk about Brighton and Newcastle being promoted teams, but they're both solid PL sides.Looks like a proper Top 4 team right now. Chelsea does not, but they started slow last year, too.
I didn't think Spurs looked very impressive until they went up a man. 11 v10 against one of the worst squads in the league isn't something I'm going to judge much on.Spurs, City, and United all looked a step above this weekend. I agree that Spurs didn't look that good. Liverpool and Arsenal were easily breached. City struggled more with Brighton than they should have. Of course Chelsea have nothing to be happy about. Everton looked clumsy against a bad team.I didn't think Spurs looked very impressive until they went up a man. 11 v10 against one of the worst squads in the league isn't something I'm going to judge much on.
United looked terrific (and West Ham looked awful).
